The rating could be misleading. The food is a hit or a miss at this place.
The good:
Buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty good.
The bad:
Rude/unwelcoming cashier, cold burger patties in the bacon cheeseburger. The patty was very dry. It wasn’t even room temperature, it had cold patties. Kids meal is terrible. It has only three chicken strips, barely enough for a child.
I would recommend to try some other place.

Terrible bacon cheeseburger—definitely not “gourmet”. Cold fries, synthetic cheese sauce on loaded tots. Insanely overpriced. This is a basic school cafeteria frozen processed hamburger patty — be warned. Zoo staff says Mexican restaurant is the place to eat if you have to eat here. Next time, I’m packing my own food.

Bacon cheeseburger is really good especially with a side of onion rings. A table near the back is best, next to huge mature trees.

It's a zoo, so the prices are gonna be high. Servings were decently big, but the food took 25 minutes to come out. Three burgers. And they were cold. Not room temperature, but cold.

We really enjoyed our experience. Obviously, zoo food is expensive so this was no exception. However, the portions were big and the food tasted great. We both had the buffalo chicken sandwich that came with fries and we ordered a side of onion rings to split. We both got full before finishing everything. The service was great with very patient workers while we tried to figure out what to order. We will be coming back here next time we are at the zoo

We had pretty low expectations, so we were pleasantly surprised 👌🏻
Huge portions, quite delicious food, decent prices.
Sorry, we were too hungry and made one bite before taking a photo 😂

The food was very decent for park food walk up. We ordered the loaded tots, chicken fingers, and chicken club sandwich. There were plenty of seats in the shade to eat at. It was a bit expensive, but at least the cups could be refilled.
