Saguaro's was a favorite when I lived in SD and is still the first place I go right off the plane when I visit. Gotta get a horchata and a CA burrito. I wish I lived closer.
Ordered a cheese quesdilla to go. It was good. Will come back again!😋👍
My 2 year old daughter and I got very sick after eating here. My wife was fine and our meal at Saguaro’s was the only one she didn’t share, so the cause is pretty obvious. I called the restaurant to report it, but after I shared what happened they quickly spoke in Spanish in the background and pretended not to hear me. They stopped picking up their phone after that and never called back. That could’ve been handled better in my opinion.
Fast easy quick fresh
Drive thru no parking
Garbage rolled tacos thrown together by lazy employees. Half of the rolled tacos had nothing on them, literally was the only customer there and they screwed up rolled tacos and forgot a bag of hot carrots.
Keep raising the minimum wage so we can pay a premium for food and lazy employees that couldn’t care less about their job.
ONE AND DONE WITH THIS PLACE!
Plenty of other great Mexican joints in town.

Used to be the best, but I just went back after being away for a long time and my California Burrito, which I've been getting here for a decade, was garbage. The cheese wasn't even melted?

*Food poisoning at Saguaros*
Today, I door-dashed the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, this meal resulted in a severe case of food poisoning, leading to an emergency room visit lasting over seven hours.
This incident has been the most extreme food-related illness I have ever encountered, and I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from undergoing similar distress.
I strongly advise considering alternative dining options if you are planning to visit Saguaros, as my experience suggests potential issues with food safety standards that need urgent attention. This incident has significantly undermined my confidence in this establishment, and I hope this review serves as a catalyst for necessary improvements in their food handling practices.

Roll tacos tacos not Crunchy. Cold in the inside. guacamole on roll tacos suck. They serve Menudo almost Cold. They are not busy and still make too many mistakes. No Wonder every body prefers the other taco shop Call Cotijas Not all of them North park but Sometimes they are too busy most times good for them.diferent service mentality.

Had the machaca plate and jamaica drink was delicious and filling. Sorry about the picture. I was making tacos from it. Finish the whole thing and was still hungry for more

The tortilla is perfect, very thin and delicious. They do not put enough beans (in their veggie burrito) and they do not put the cheese directly on the beans when you ask to add cheese. These changes alone would make the food rating go up at least another star if not more. Cheese directly on the beans makes it melt a little and taste waaay better. They also do a the strange habit of not fully cutting the pieces in half when you ask to have the burrito cut in half. I have always wondered if all these kitchens just have poorly sharpened knives or what is going on....

Place has pretty good food. The street tacos are very good. They need to offer sausage for their breakfast burritos though.
