This is a great neighborhood eatery with authentic Asian cuisine. The curry was absolutely incredible and the calamari was fantastic. We tried at least four dishes family style and they were all an incredible value.
My first time eating at this place, located in the Mission Gorge area of San Diego. The surrounding is always scenic and safe, and the people are friendly. The food is very savvy and culinary. Service was exceptional polite, creating an ambience environment, along with decors and sanitation, Saigon Star deserves an ovationfor its Vietnamese & Chinese bistro, as is should be IT: the local eatery in town....more dynastic ambient... Fantastic Four!!!!!
We really enjoy the food here. It's fresh authentic and one of the best pho we have had. The beef broth is so soothing. This is our go to place for a good homely dinner. We usually have the lemon grass chicken, spring roll and beef pho. Look portions are decent sized! Service could be slow sometimes but it’s not too bad.We dine in and do take out atleast once a month.
