If you’re not eating here after the beach, you’re missing out!! Everything I ordered was amazing and fresh! The hot dog after playing at the beach was incredible! Best fries ever ( the ranch is so yummy to dip the fries in), and the nachos made my picky 6 year old a happy girl! Thank you for such a great experience! Thank you for having yummy food for after the beach and I think I’ll be back everytime I’m in San Diego!

The only thing they got right was my damn chicken tenders. Messed up 3 other people's orders and completely forgot about a couple of things. If you want good food go to biggies a couple of blocks up. Terrible experience

Sammies has been my go-to spot for a while now! I try not to eat out often, but when I do, I get a sandwich from here. The 6in sandwiches are huge and could be two meals if you get a combo. The staff is always nice to me here and always has my food ready when I come to pick up my items. Would definitely recommend this small business!

Great variety of food at very reasonable prices. Love the regular hot dog, wings, and pretzel. And, this business is Veteran owned.
I pulled up on my skateboard around 1PM. There was one other guy in there who wasn’t an employee and the woman tried taking my order after I took one step into the establishment. I said “yeah just give me three seconds” because I forgot what the item was called since they changed owners and I think it came off a bit rude. I also felt like I was waiting a while for the food after the other guy got his hotdog and left but in reality it was maybe ten minutes. After staring out the window and enjoying the sun I realized I was being ridiculous. The sandwich was great, cook brought it out to me, good portion size, and the perfect amount of hummus which usually is too much for me.I’ll definitely be back because it was a great sandwich and I like to support small local business. My parents are small biz owners in NJ and there’s something about helping the new guy vs going to a chain like board n brew down the way. Keep it up!

WOW! Delish Sammie. Hubby and I ordered & shared the 12" "Sunset Cliffs"....piled high with fresh veggies and generous portions of roast beef and bacon. Loved the fresh hoagie too! We're only in town a few more days but plan to return to try the Ocean Beach sammie next! Appreciated the fast & friendly service too!

Got the Sunset Cliffs and it was insanely good. I also kept messing up the order (3 times) and the staff was so patient! Pretzels are really good as well! Any staff problems from the past have been clearly solved and if youre here this a must stop
