The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. Nice place to meet friends and chat but the food was rather disappointing. I ordered the steak and eggs for $33 and the steak was tough even at medium rare. Someone else at my table ordered the same thing and had the worst diarrhea afterwards. Very painful stomach ache. Luckily I escaped that fate. Pancakes and salmon on toast were as expected but price to quantity/ quality ratio is poor. Located in Del Mar highlands mall. Free parking in lot.

Went here for the first time overall good experience service was really really good. The food was good nothing over the top. For a brunch place lacked omelet options big time. Also it would be nice if they offered a flight of pancakes to sample one of each.

Service was absolutely amazing!! Our server, Karen, was so attentive and took care of everything. We were a big group so not the easiest to handle, but she was aware of when we needed things and took care without hovering. Food was obviously good, as always, but the service is what really makes the experience here. Her ability to go above and beyond is what guarantees that we'll come back again and again!

The menu was tantalizing and our orders were delicious. There were some issues with the service; however, the staff was clearly being overwhelmed by an extremely large party elsewhere (during what would normally be a slow shift) but they did what they could to make it up to our table. Honestly, stuff happens, and the staff's acknowledgement of the situation and frank communication impressed me. Toasted has a new fan.

Same owners as Sammy's woodfire Pizza but rebranded and had delicious breakfast/ brunch options. My son's never want to go anywhere else when we go out for early meals!

I would recommend to make a reservation rather than being added to the list. I called before hand to make a reservation or add to the waitlist and they said it would not be a problem but when arrived, the quoted a 20-25 minute wait while it was over an hour. I was more disappointed because we could have at least gone for a drink across the way if we knew it would be an hour but we stayed close. It does seem like the were low on staff and the servers had too many tables but our server was great when at our table he was just too busy. Food was decent, but being the #1 brunch place in the country I was expecting more.
