This was our fourth time dining here, and the food has been consistently delicious every visit. That said, the restaurant could really benefit from having a designated hostess, so expect a wait even if you have a reservation.

The staff is polite and respectful, but the service needs significant improvement. I never received a refill on my water, and after finishing our meal, we waited over 20 minutes just to pay the bill.

I still recommend this place for the excellent food, but be prepared for slow service.

Took my family here for brunch, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we sat down, the service was fantastic. Our server was attentive, welcoming, and kept everything moving smoothly without making us feel rushed.
As for the food? Delicious. Every dish that hit the table was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed, high-quality family meal. We will definitely be back!

Let’s just say I was pretty disappointed with my experience here.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a hostess and given the option of indoor seating or their covered outdoor patio. There were plenty of open tables, and an employee quickly cleaned one off for us outside. The restaurant itself was cute and clean.

Our server was very friendly and offered several recommendations. He brought our drinks promptly, and we placed our order shortly after.

I ordered the:

•Lobster Scramble: this was recommended by our server. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown, especially for the price ($34). While the lobster had good flavor, there were only a few small pieces throughout the dish. The eggs were way overcooked and lacked the soft, fluffy texture you’d expect from scrambled eggs. The toast arrived cold, and I even had to ask for butter, which seemed odd since it wasn’t provided automatically. The highlight of the plate was definitely the potatoes. They had a unique texture and flavor that almost reminded me of mashed potatoes in potato form. They were easily the best thing I ate.

My friend ordered the French toast and described it as just okay and nothing memorable.

Honestly, I wish I had gone with the chicken fried steak, which was what I originally wanted. Based on the recommendation, I chose the Lobster Scramble instead, and I definitely regret it. I would not recommend that dish.

Overall, the service was great and the restaurant was clean and charming. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best and significantly overpriced. Paying $34 for a few pieces of lobster mixed into overcooked scrambled eggs just isn’t worth it. You can get a full lobster roll in La Jolla for about the same price.

Cute place, excellent service, but the food didn’t justify the cost and wasn’t enjoyable. I wouldn’t return.

everything is amazing 100% recommend to get the carrot cakes pancakes. The pancake flight is such a reasonable price where you could try multiple pancakes. They have these little hash brown circle balls that are just amazing. They're light and fluffy like a puff. They have a eggs Benedict with short rib and it's so delicious. The new happy meal with the salmon dip is delicious. The chicken and waffles are a must try and the green eggs are so cool. Karen is amazing!!!! She’s so wondefy and helpful! Such a fun and sweet women!

Had such a wonderful brunch for my friend's birthday. We especially enjoyed the bottomless mimosas. This place can handle large parties well. Great service and great atmosphere.

Toasted Gastrobrunch is a chill place; the interior and exterior are nice, and there is plenty of seating. Love the decor. The service was good. The manager was excellent. For food, I got the eggs in purgatory, which came with a sourdough bread bowl, tomato shakshuka sauce, mushrooms, feta, sunny-side-up egg, scallions, and mint. Honestly, the dish was good, but I would not get it again. They did not remove enough of the sourdough from the bread. So there wasn’t enough tomato shakshuka sauce in there. The tomato shakshuka was delicious. It was so tasty. Shame, there really wasn't in the bowl; it was more in the base of the sourdough. I also loved the mushrooms. So tasty and huge. For drinks, I had the red monster house bloody mix, lime, shrimp, roasted jalapeΓ±o, bacon, Tajin rim, stuffed olive. That was delicious. I love a hardy Bloody Mary. I love the grilled shrimp and the hardy bacon. I would definitely go back. Their address is 12925 El Camino Real, San Diego, CA 92130.

I recommend the Short-in-Rib Bone if you want to give it a try it’s a meat dish, and it was delicious. If you’re in the mood for dessert, the sundae will leave you speechless.

The service was a 10/10. Nathan was very pleasant; he gave us the best recommendations from the menu and was always attentive to us and how we felt about the food. Thank you, Nathan if I come back, it will be for your service and the incredible food.

The atmosphere was very comfortable, peaceful, and had good background music.

The food was really good. It was a busy Sunday around brunch/lunch time but we only waited 20 minutes for a table for 5 people. Unfortunately we waited 45+ minutes after ordering for our food to arrive. Would definitely go back on a less busy day or time.

I just came for breakfast for the first time. I wanted to try something new. But, I think this place really needs an overhaul. The food was not very good. The service needs work. The area I sat was dirty and the cup that my tea came in was also not clean. I won’t be returning.
