I wanted something different than the pricey taco shop next door so I walked in to check it out. The menu did not have prices but after asking it was definitely pricey too. None the less I orderd combo #2, a bagel sanwhich with egg, cream cheese, spinach, tomato, cucumber, and red onion on a jalapeño and cheese bagel bread. For the smoothie I chose a peanut butter one with banana. It all came to about $18 amd took about 10 minutes since there were no customers waiting. The meal was not bad at all and it was filling. I enjoyed the taste and the spicey sauce. The smoothie was super thick but good. Their outdoor seating has no shade but I found a table under a tree.
The food was good but I don't think it was $18 good. Other sandwich and smoothie places have similar pricing but much bigger sandwiches and drinks than this place.

I’ve been a loyal Blenders customer for years—since the original Santa Barbara location where the concept began. I’ve always enjoyed their smoothies, and on this visit I purchased two large ones that, as always, tasted absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the customer service and integrity of the staff at this San Diego location were deeply disappointing.

After leaving, I realized I had accidentally left my cell phone on the waiting table just outside the shop. Using “Find My iPhone,” I tracked it and saw it was still at Blenders. I immediately called the store and spoke to the same employee who had taken my order. I explained the situation and asked him to please grab my phone until I arrived. At first, he said “okay,” but shortly after, he called me back claiming my phone wasn’t there and that his coworker had already cleaned the table.

This was dishonest. There were only two employees working, and my phone’s location clearly showed it was inside the store. As I was pulling up, the same employee called me again. When I walked in, he smiled and suddenly “found” my phone. The older employee behind the counter, who was making smoothies, gave me a look that made it obvious they both knew more than they were admitting.

What’s worse, when I got my phone back, my Apple wallet had clearly been tampered with. My cards had been shoved back in incorrectly, my wallet was damaged, and it was obvious someone had been inspecting them. Not only was I lied to on the phone, but it feels like my belongings were rifled through while they hoped I wouldn’t come back.

For a business I’ve supported for years, this was a shocking breach of trust. Smoothies may taste good, but dishonesty, tampering with personal belongings, and lying to customers is absolutely unacceptable. I left feeling violated and disappointed. Blenders should take a hard look at who they hire, because this behavior destroys customer loyalty.

My son works at Jamba and this was best smoothie he has had, says a lot. Sizes are bigger than typical and value compared to others better. Good work, keep it up.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The açaí bowl tasted like alcohol, meaning the fruit had fermented and was bad. I have literally called 5 times to get a refund and left my number and still have not heard back. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. The kid on the phone just kept saying “I don’t know” when I asked if he could give me a refund for the açaí bowl, if he could connect me with his manager, if he could tell me when his manager was coming in, etc.

I literally still have the bowl in the freezer as proof I literally took two bites and couldn’t even think of finishing it. It’s been two weeks of calling.

I've been here a handful of times over the last couple years and usually it's great but lately they are so hit-and-miss.

One time I placed an online order, went to pick it up, and they were closed. So now I always call it in.

My mango smoothie today was delicious, but my prior one was full of ground up pits. It was the $11 vegetarian sandwich that put me over the edge. It tasted good but was mostly lettuce.

Wouldn't come back to this place they gave attitude and wanted to charge me extra for the spicy cilantro sauce when regularly they give them out for free and I'm a regular customer. I spent well over $50 and they couldn't accommodate to my needs and they told me to leave . I'm friends to the owner and never been treated this way.

Just went for my first time and am obsessed! The cashier was really friendly and helpful, he gave some amazing recommendations which is always appreciated when it's a first time experience. I purchased two juices, both honestly reasonably priced compared to other stores and oh my gosh he recommended the avocado sandwich which I wasn't the most excited about because how good could an avocado sandwich be? Let me tell you, it's so freaking good, I was shocked at how yummy it was. I will definitely be back, thanks so much!

I ordered a large smoothie. I learned the hard way their lids do not hold at all. I paid $14 for this smoothie. My order was called and the cashier tipped out his hand to pass me the drink over the counter, meaning it was hoisted in air at an angle. The only way I could grab it was from the top. As soon as I grabbed it, the lid slid off the styrofoam top sending the contents across the bottom of my clothing and the floor.

I tried to help clean it up and so did another nice customer. The customer was way nicer to me than the associates who looked annoyed and blaming the whole time I need their assistance (I asked for napkins twice) to attend to the matter.

I had to ask twice, two people, if they would remake my drink. They made me awkwardly wait while they decided they would give me what I paid for and lost out of no error of my own. After speaking to another associate, the one who helped me decided he would remake it.

He brought it outside and gave me, I noticed after he walked away, a smoothie two times smaller than what I paid for. I was too annoyed with the situation to say anything else.

Once I tried the replacement smoothie, it was good, but the lid tried to pop off again!

0/10 experience. Obviously my money was best spent elsewhere. Due to the customer service and terrible cups, I would certainly recommend you go elsewhere.

Went to get a smoothie during open hours but it was closed. No note or anything. Door locked but was supposed to be open for another 4 hours. Annoying and inconvenient.

First time here. Ordered a veggie sandwich and an antioxidant smoothie. This will be my go-to order forever now. Excellent service from Jacob. And excellent food. I wish I ordered more! So glad I was in the area And chose to come here! Thank you Jacob for your outstanding customer service and your recommendation for the smoothie! Will definitely visit again and again and again!

SD Blenders was recommended by a friend.

First off, menu without pricing is a bit wild...but come to realize...they are definitely over-priced. In my opinion, a more pricey Jamba Juice.

I ordered:
-lunch combo, sandwich and smoothie $17.95, charged $1 for a boost
-antioxidant smoothie medium $11.95

Was charged an extra fee for using a credit card (no mention of it).

Flavors were ok...again, price does not justify the food at all.

Narrow parking spaces in this lot.

I love this place. San Diego doesn’t have enough good old fashioned smoothie places. Great smoothies, the staff is so kind, and I love their veggies sandwich as well. It’s not cheap, but it’s not ever priced either and everything is quality.
