What a cool spot! I'm new to Peruvian cuisine and the staff here is so friendly, I realized what I wanted right away. The chicharron sandwich is a must have for any pork lover, and the sweet potato fries are some of the best I ever had! Plus, Coco hooked me up with a delicious Peruvian beer. Great spot for a hot afternoon.

The chicharron (pork belly) sandwich is amazing and the only place I’ve found in SD that does yuca fries. Will definitely be coming back to try the asado sandwich.

The food was exactly what I was hoping for when I read Peruvian Street Food. When I walked in, Coco greeted me with a friendly welcome and proceeded to explain the offerings. I had a Chicharron sandwich (pork) and a beef empanada. The sandwich was 10 out of 10. Two dipping sauces are included, and both go well with the flavor of the sandwich. The empanada was also a 10 out of 10. The freshness and quality of the ingredients are aparant in every bite. I highly recommend anyone to try this place. The food may seem heavy. However, it isn't. I ate quite a bit and felt fantastic afterward! I'm definitely going to return and eat here again.

This place has real peruvian sandwiches like you're literally eating in the streets of peru.
I'm peruvian, and eating there feels like I'm back in my country. But it's not just any street food taste. It's a very, very well crafted taste that rivals, if not, surpasses the best peruvian street foods in peru.

The owner is genuinely a sweet gentleman who warmly welcomed us. He was incredibly friendly and passionate about sharing the stories behind the menu and ingredients. You can tell he pours his heart into every dish, and it shows in the delicious taste and welcoming atmosphere. The flan, empanadas, and alfajores are truly out of this world. Highly recommended - you won’t be disappointed!

Giving this my Peruvian stamp. Probably the best Peruvian sandwich I’ve had in the States. It reminded me of the sandwiches in my dad’s hometown in Ica, Peru.

When I came I promptly order the chicharron option as it was one of the gluten free options. I got a nice meal of fries and serval really tender balls of meat, and of course a collection of 6 different sauces. I would say the service was fast and the food was very great. This is a good restaurant for a quick lunch with the family.
