Good variety at the brunch buffet, good service. It was my wife's bday and a festive platter of macarons, cheesecake and dipped strawberries awaite our arrival! That was a beautiful surprise! Right out the door is Seaport Village which is nice for a post-buffet stroll and shopping.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The staff is amazing! The food (buffet) was just as good. We were celebrating our 26 Anniversary. They gifted us with a variety of tasty dessert. We will definitely return.

It's rare I will love a breakfast buffet, however, the Seaview restaurant at the Manchester Hyatt in San Diego is an exception. From the fresh fruit and omelet bar to the bagels and really delicious coffee, the food was exceptional. The service was even better. Worth every penny, I would highly recommend the Seaview.Dietary restrictions: Ask the waiters if you have restrictions.Parking: Expensive to park at the Hyatt per day is $45. at the time of our stay.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.

This buffet is as basic as it gets. Seems to be a converted conference space with little ambiance, no view, and bland food. The menu definitely seemed geared toward young palates and had limited choices. It was not the high end experience you would expect from thr the Manchester Grand. And, with so many other brunch choices in the area, it wasn't worth the price. The only highlight was Leslie, our server, who ensured they lived up to the bottomless mimosa billing.

Great breakfast buffet! We told them it was our anniversary. They had a special table ready for us with a beautiful anniversary dessert waiting for us. Everyone said happy anniversary and made our morning so special. Thank you!

The service was horrible. We waited over an hour to get our food. The waiter wasted coffee on the table and just walked off. I called him by name (Alex), and he just kept walking. Mateo spent most of his time away from the table. He didn't take the menus away after we ordered our meals. There were seven of us, and we were charged a gratuity of 18% of our bill. Food was not worth the wait or the bad service.

We did not expect this lever of service walking into that restaurant for breakfast. We stayed at the hotel for seven nights and on day one we were honored to have Serawit as our server. He is exceptional at what he does. It’s been weeks since our trip and our kids still talk about our morning chats with Serawit. He always made sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond. I guess if you look for the same sever every morning to be seated in his section that tells you how special he is. Oh and the food was excellent as well.

This is a highlight of our trip to San Diego. Staying at the Hyatt Manchester and having breakfast at the Seaside View restaurant! Great selection of breakfast items, pastries, fruits, made to order omelets, mountain of bacon and sausages. I love coffee and their coffee is great! My husband loves a tall glass of OJ! Staff is so attentive and show a lot of care and pride in their service to customers! Make sure to see Serawit one of their wait staff. He took great care of us.

There is nothing wrong with the Seaview restaurant, but that there is nothing right for its priceyness. I dont mind paying $40+ per person for a breakfast experience but the experience should match the rate. The bin of scrambled eggs looked no different then those served in a motel, massed produced for hundreds. There was no 'sea' view...in fact it felt like a windowless banquet hall. I did find a window way in the back with a view of giant globs of concrete. I ordered a cappuccino (additional cost) and it looked and tasted like it was made from some rapid dispense machine like u might see at a motel breakfast, clearly no barista. Too be fair, there was alot of food selections but it all tasted just ok and it felt like there was less of a chef orchestrating this meal and more of a cook. Having had many high dollar buffet experiences in the past and many motel free buffets as well...this leaned closer to the motel experience but at a larger scale. Don't let the pics real you in, skip it. With all that said we will probably eat there again this morning simply because we are checking out and tight on time....which is probably how they get away with producing a high dollar mediocre buffet.

Mediocre food and selection of options. Cost does not justify the abysmal lack of variety. The ambiance is bland, uninviting, and gloomy. The decor is reminiscent of a 1990's senior center dining hall. Would not recommend for the price. Bizarrely overpriced and overrated. San Diego has far more exciting and appetizing spots for breakfast. Save your money.

Food was great & all seemed very fresh but too pricey! $35. It was rainy due to tropical storm Hilary so opted to eat at the hotel, but charged with tax, tip for 2 at $85 is just too much especially for a breakfast!

We ate here for the first time and it was a good experience. The hostess was very kind and noticed that we had one person who was vegan in our group. She mentioned which items that are vegan and I appreciated the thoughtfulness.

It was convenient, easy access to Hyatt guests and the food was good & fresh! Sadly for the lady behind me, they ran out of mushrooms at the omelette station & they were not replenishing. Also too bad that the orange juice was not fresh squeezed. The staff was very attentive and nice.

We went first thing in the morning before a conference. It was very quiet with a nice view. There are a lot of options on the buffet with a cold side and an omelette station, where they also serve avocado toast. The service was great. The atmosphere was great albeit pricey,in my opinion, for breakfast. It was $40 per person.
