This place was horrible. I ordered the quesadilla. Zero flavor and too much cheese. My friend ordered the ceviche, cut up shrimp served on a tortilla with Tabasco sauce on the side. My friend ended up feeling sick the rest of the day. Neither one of us ate more than 2 bites, it was that bad. 3 other tables had sent the food back to the kitchen.

Bass sandwich was kind of bland. The batter was doughy. The side salad was just a small bowl of lettuce, nothing else in it.Best part about my visit was the view.

Room updates were really nice, hotel (Marina tower) felt very clean and modern. Location near the airport is great. Service is lacking, the front desk staff were nice but need some training on customer service. Beware of which rate you book and double check the bill. I booked a rate that included breakfast and parking, they charged me for parking every day and I had to go back multiple times to have that removed (it’s $47/day for self park in a dirt/gravel lot far from the main entrance). I didn’t receive any breakfast vouchers and no one could tell me where the breakfast even was. So I paid extra for that and didn’t get credited when I left as they told me they would. Would stay again, hopefully service will improve.

Love the updated room decor and amazing staff. Hsk was amazing and so was front desk team. The pool and fire pits made for a relaxing time. Location was also great! Beautiful views of the water and pool from our room.

Location is simply great. Very near to the airport, they have airport shuttle. Convenient and easy. We stayed in newly renovated suite, so it was very nice. We used Marriott Suite night award for the upgrade. Service is issue, it could be better! Great marina views, good pool, and nice onsite restaurants!

My opinion is that this hotel is poorly run and a bit of a rip-off. I had to wait in long lines to check in and they are very short-staffed. My email confirmation never mentioned the $40 daily parking rate they surprised me with at check-in.

Stayed to be close to the airport but was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, professionalism of the staff, and multiple updates via text. The pool facility looked great and the views of the marina are pretty. I would definitely stay here on my next trip. Note overnight parking is $47 due to limited space.

We stayed at the Sheraton Hotel & Marina, San Diego, for 3 nights from Sunday August 6 2023 and checked out on Wednesday August 9 2022 using the speedy ‘Key Drop’ box in the lobby. The Sheraton was one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever been in. Our room was one of the suites recently renovated and it felt like we were the first to use it. It was very smart and clean. As nice as the hotel was, we made very little use of the facilities and did not explore much beyond the lobby for the simple reason that our short visit to San Diego had a very busy schedule. Some notes from our time there: ? We arrived a lot earlier than the check-in time and the staff gave us a very warm welcome. We used the Bellman service and left our luggage so we could go and explore the city - we ended up being out hours, much longer than planned, but this didn’t cause any problems and our room was all set when we got back. ? We walked several times from the Sheraton to Downtown San Diego, taking in the pleasant views of the North San Diego Bay. It took around 45 minutes to get to the area where the USS Midway is docked. ? We had free and fast WiFi with our booking. There were many USB slots with the power sockets and an USB-C lightning cable charger slot on the digital clock. This meant it was very easy to recharge all our devices. ? Our room had an electronic table that could be heightened and lowered. ? The smart TV with access to YouTube was a big help for checking out the places we planned to visit. ? The shower was very powerful and also had a detachable wand with a separate burst of water. You didn’t want to get out once you were in! ? The bed was ginormous and very comfortable. ? Our room was on the 11th floor and had an excellent view of the many boats and yachts at the East Dock and the North San Diego Bay. We could also see the impressive skyline of Downtown San Diego which tempted us to sleep with the curtains open so we could wake up to the stunning view. ? This was the second hotel in California we stayed in that had no safe in the room. Is this the norm in CA? Surely not?! ? The Sheraton is very close to San Diego International Airport. We could hear every takeoff and landing from our room. Fortunately this didn’t impose on us too much and we did enjoy sitting on the balcony with some beers watching the airplanes come in over downtown late at night. ? The Sheraton offers a free shuttle bus to the nearby airport. We had intended on walking over - it would have taken around 15 mins - but there was a lot of construction work going on at the main entrance, so we decided to use the free shuttle. It got us there in very good time and dropped us right next to the Southwest Skycap service, which speeded up our departure from beautiful San Diego.

The 5 stars is for Ady. I had an unusual stay and my planned staycation did not go to plan. I would give this 3 stars for other issues and communication with other hotel staff. I arrived at my room and it was freezing, thermostat was set to 60. I set it to 76 and fell asleep for about 4 hours and when I woke up my throat and nose was clogged up. The thermostat was at 59 degrees and was constantly running during my nap. I felt really sick and had no energy, my body had chills. Everything I had planned for the day and evening was canceled because I suddenly had a fever. When I initially called with the issue the person I spoke to was not understanding of what was happening and sent 3 different engineers in a 6 hour time span with the last one seemingly fixing it. Anyway, long story but the cold temperature in the room is to blame for me getting sick. I called the front desk and was transferred to Ady, who was the manager on duty. I explained to her what had happened and she was the only one I spoke to that day that understood how I was feeling and at this point I could barely get to the phone since it was far from the bed and it was hard for me to answer the door. Ady went above and beyond and offered me many different scenarios including getting me extra blankets, bringing water to my room. I’m ended up staying another day because I just was not getting up out of bed and my body was just too weak. When I explained this to the manager earlier in the day he said there is no way you can feel sick just after 4 hours cause of the AC, that really bothered me. My planned mini getaway didn’t turn out the way I wanted and spent the whole two days in my room and in bed. My room however had a nice view of the water and when I could open my eyes I would sometimes see boats and ships passing by which was probably the highlight of my trip. I also want to shout out the security and housekeeping for bringing me essentials. The room was in the Bay Tower and it is more quiet than the main tower and in my opinion has better views. I’m hoping I can redo this trip with a different outcome in the near future. Thank you Ady for doing the best you could.

After several hours of driving, we arrived to our stay at 5 a.m. We were greeted warmly by the front desk and were surprised to arrive to our room which was on the top (12th) floor. The hotel and its grounds were lovely and so was our room and view (we faced North and had a beautiful view of the sunset). Aside from the boats and naval planes in the early weekday mornings, the sleep was quiet. I liked that the hotel had many offerings for that made the $35 resort fee worth it but didn’t get around to trying like: yoga, water taxi, sound bath, roasting marshmallows (I did try this) and others. Parking is expensive ($47/night) but luckily with our (late) arrival we were only charged for one fewer day than our hotel stay.

Stayed for our anniversary week. Renovated room with a marina view, lighted mirror in bathroom and shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower wand. Min fridge, flat screen Tv, bed was not the most comfy and pillows were good. Didn’t like that there was no real couch, rather a stylish bench. No true gift shop, signs misleading. Food was very good!! Will stay again. Parking is insanely expensive at $47 per day. Love that there was no smell of smoke although the room nextdoor was smoking weed on their balcony. Yuk!

First off, this is an older property so expect that. We had a Thur-Sunday stay (4:00 check out Sunday due to Platinum). We stayed in the Bay Tower odd numbered room to get a view of the bay. The other side views the marina which is not nearly as nice. On the Bay side, you have people walking, boats going in both directions and jets taking off from the Navy base. Even watching people park their cars was entertaining from the seventh floor. Bring your binoculars. You also get the bonus of the entire city in your view which is great at night. We skipped pool time and just sat on the patio enjoying the action. (the pool is actually very poor). We got a refrigerator in the room which was a plus since the website does not indicate that. We were charged for the internet, but not a resort fee which was a net plus so I didn't complain. Another big plus is the shuttle from one tower to another, but more importantly it will also take you down to a group of restaurants (CLevel (excellent for happy hour), Island Prime...didn't make, but looks great and Coasterra...very good...all with a view of the Bay. The resorts also has, we discovered, a water taxi that will get you to other parts of the bay...definitely on our list for next time. We worked in a trip to Del Mar (pick up and drop off the same day to avoid the $47 car parking fee at the hotel) and this turned into a very satisfying vacation away from the heat of Las Vegas. Only one restaurant in the Bay Tower, but met our needs for every meal and drinks including very generous, for two, continental breakfast as part of the Platinum benefits. (two drinks, two items each). Already debating regarding our next trip back.

Poor service. We arrived 10 mins before closing. The bar tender said we could order food. I asked for a table for 2. He said sit anywhere. Young waiter came by and turned us away.
