Oh my God! It tastes like Christmas at grandmas house in Georgia. THIS is what I’ve been looking for. I’m new from the east coast & soul food is hard to come by in this city. I had the catfish, greens & beans, unfortunately they were out of Mac n cheese, but judging by the catfish & greens I already know the Mac b cheese will not disappoint. I’ll be back every weekend for sure.

I decided to try something different. We came as a group. Everyone tried different things.I wanted some fish, so this yummy catfish was not greasy. They served me two lightly fillers breaded fillers.I opted for the collard greens, which was a tad too salty for me... but then again, I changed my eating habits so whose to say? They allowed me to try their fries which were excellent. But I wanted to try their Mac and cheese. I should've taken up on their fries. But next time :)Enjoy eating here. I want to try other menu items!

Great place for soul food and a catfish lover like myself from the South. This place is located inside multiple other restaurants and business it's almost like a food mall.Tucked away and easy to miss but worth a try there's other food options as well.

The poor boy sandwich was to die for, and the bread was perfect. Do yourself a favor and get the baked beans .

Ribs were awesome, and the collards were delicious, felt like I was back in Florida with how good they were!

Being from South Mississippi, I didn’t have much expectation from any place on the west coast that sells soul food. Smitty’s is legit! Flavorful, good portions, and decently price. The Mac and cheese, greens, and baked beans were all off the chain. I highly recommend.

Wow, this food was amazing! Had the BBQ chicken, it was massive and so juicy. Sauce was on point too! Mac and cheese and baked beans were fantastic too. Would give six stars if I could!

I saw the review that the chicken was undercooked and thought it wouldn’t be the case and surely it would be corrected but man. This was a waste of $18+

Idk where to start. Was it the plain fish? Or shrimp the tiny portion of fries or what. But for the seafood bucket to cost $24 and the portion size be small along with NO seasoning. The fish literally tasted like water. Whatever you think about the bayou or any Cajun food no, it does not matter here. So sad I wasted my money.

Mac and Cheese NastyI thought I was buying black baked mac and cheese and this tasted like KFC mac cheese. Tasted processed like it was dolled up but still nasty

Had the catfish dinner with two sides: baked beans and greens. My wife ordered Catfish shrimp and Fries. I guess we weren't in the mood for ribs this trip so I will need to get back to try those. Everything was great except the beans were too spicy for me or my wife who usually likes spicy food. The catfish was delicious though.
