Sonny’s Pizza is a really cool place with an old school and casual Northeast pizza spot feel, decorated with pictures on the walls, cozy booths, and a great bar. The outdoor space is lovely and a great spot to grab some food. The pizzas are really good, delicious, and fantastic, with a great selection of customizations including gluten free options, vegan cheese, and vegetarian options. Specific pizzas like the Blitzkreig Bop and the Pineapple Express are divine and super good. The thin crust is outstanding. The menu also features great mains like rigatoni and vodka sauce pasta, which are delicious, and a really good kids pasta. Appetizers like the killer Caesar salad and calamari fritti are great quality. The truffle oil dip is a MUST. Drinks are great from the full bar. Service is awesome, attentive, and friendly, though it is QR code service. Be aware there are no free refills on soft drinks and a 5% service charge. Despite this, it’s a spot that does not disappoint, leaving guests happy and ready to come back. They even accommodate fun requests like heart-shaped pizzas. They also have a dog menu with great treats.
