Souplantation

I love this place so much. I don't have the means to go there now or really anytime soon, but if I get the chance to, I want to say goodbye. The food was always great and perfect for any occasion; whether that be a celebration or just a late lunch with your family. The staff was always friendly and welcoming. I just heard word of all Sweet Tomatoes/Souplantations closing due to the virus situation. For years, this and the Mira Mesa locations were our go-to restaurant especially after having a kid. Definitely the best place to go with kids with the variety. You could even have a picky eater and there were many things for them. Wanted to check in and say goodbye and thanks to this location. I guess with all of this Covid nonsense, buffet type arrangements are gonna pretty much be no-go for the foreseeable future. During the past couple years, I went through an extended stretch of unemployment, so was always looking for a cost effective place to get a filling meal to keep me going.
