Absolutely fantastic. I'm not Chinese so I can't tell you how authentic it is, but I did see Chinese customers while I was in there. Even if it's not authentic it's excellent. Highly recommend!
It's a pretty run-down place, where if you peeked from outside, you'd hesitate to go in. We chanced on it as a last resort after over an hour of circling Mira Mesa Blvd on a Saturday night, and wait times we're over an hour. The food is actually great, all the way down to the fried rice. They do serve you tiny paper plates to eat from, but we went again on the next Chinese food craving.
I have ordered once, not sure if I will order again. The menu is extensive and it was hard to decide. We also felt rushed to order as the restaurant was small and there were others waiting to order. Two of our dishes had a spice on them that has a numbing effect on your tongue. This is a spice that seems common in Chinese food, but it is very unpleasant. If I knew what it was I would request it not be added as it ruined what could have been a tasty dish. We spent $50 on three...
