SRO Lounge is a great little dive bar with a mostly gay crowd. The bartender, who is also one of the owners, is friendly and sociable. Drinks are very reasonably priced, including the delicious Sex on the Beach cocktail. The jukebox has a good selection of music, and there's a pool table in the back.
The bar has a dive bar feel, with a kind staff and not too expensive drinks. It's a friendly neighborhood LGBTQ spot where trans girls, straight couples, and everyone in between feel welcome. The crowd is super eclectic and the environment is the most welcoming. Happy hours are great for relaxing, while Friday and Saturday nights bring more people to meet.
This place is a lovely gem - not too big, not too small, with an unpretentious local vibe. Nestled behind a nondescript entrance, it's a place where people always have a good time and make new friends. The drinks and music are excellent, and the staff are attentive hosts.
