I recently stayed at the Intercontinental for a conference and went to this location every morning for my coffee and lemon loaf. Reggie was always the best start to my day, friendly and chatty! On my last day he asked if we were almost done, unknowingly it was my last day and had the biggest presentation of my life later that morning, Reggie was what I needed that day! So kind and encouraging, he was so great!!!

4 stars for this hotel-adjacent Starbucks gem at the InterContinental San Diego. Service is impressively fast—even during the morning rush—and the drinks are consistently on point (yes, even your nitpicky triple-shot-oatmilk-extra-hot-latte). The bonus? Ample outdoor seating with breezy harbor views that make your caffeine fix feel just a touch more luxurious. Great spot to sip, sit, and pretend you’re on vacation—even if you’re just headed to a meeting.

Great Options and Friendly Staff!

This Starbucks at the InterContinental has a great team—friendly, helpful, and efficient. There are plenty of drink and food options, and as a vegetarian, I appreciated the effort they made. The falafel pocket is a solid choice, and if it's not available, they’re happy to offer spinach and tomato sandwiches as a good alternative. Great coffee, good service, and thoughtful options—definitely a reliable spot .
