I've been to this place 3 times now and have really wanted to like it. The outdoor setting has a lot of potential to be amazing. However, the quality of the food is not great for the price and the interactions with the staff have been a bit off. For example: We walk in and order two beers at the bar. Noticing the bar seating is mostly full, we walk over to an open table to sit down and chat. While we were doing this, a server comes over and asks if we are going to order food, we said no, we already had dinner and we're just going to have a beer. She then tells us that we can't sit down unless we order another beer from her and that all the tables belong to the servers. Meanwhile, there are at least 6-8 open tables inside and on the large outdoor area, we'd be happy to sit anywhere besides the crowded bar. I asked if there is any place we can sit other than bar, the server tells us to find or wait for a seat at the bar, as she walked away. Mind you, there are plenty of open tables, picnic tables, bar height tables available. . If you order a beer from their bar, you are not allowed to sit anywhere else other than the bar I really wanted to like this place as it's in a really cool space, but the experience of dining and drinking there hasn't been good enough for me to go back anytime soon. I'd recommend Harland Brewing or Fernside down the street.

Such a fun place to spend a sunny weekend afternoon. We love coming here just to get out of the house for a bit and get some fresh air. Always a nice place to bring friends and family who are in town. Service is always good and the drinks are great!

I love this place! Give you a friendly, neighborhood type of feel. A place to come on a date, with family or even with your dog. They have outside and inside seating. The yardbird is usually my go to but today I had the hotdog while my cousin had the cheeseburger. Their tots are amazing and their food is always fresh and always use fresh ingredients. The taste is always on point and that's the reason why I always come back. The service here is always good and friendly. I will continue to come back, price point is very reasonable too! Definitely worth checking out!

We had the burgers and fries and they were excellent. It was also a good atmosphere as we sat outside for the evening. There was also a good amount of variety on the beer menu. Parking can be a bit tough there, so plan to be there early if you’re meeting anyone so you have enough time to find parking. Also, cool local boutique shops around the neighborhood.

I am writing this review for awareness for dog-owners! The patio is covered by grape vines. Depending on the time of year, the grapes may wither and die - falling onto the gravel on the floor. As many dog owners know, grapes/raisins can be very toxic to dogs.We came in January with our dog and, given it was nighttime, we hadn’t noticed that the gravel was sprinkled with these dried grapes. Fortunately we quickly noticed that our dog was eating something in the gravel, identified it at grapes/raisins, and we were able to induce vomiting within a short enough period of time to prevent major toxicity/damage. The restaurant owners have been notified and have made promises to better manage the situation to keep dogs safe (clean up the dried grapes, trim back vines, etc.).However, I just wanted to write this review so that future patrons coming with their dogs are aware and can be more vigilant than we had been.Other than that, I love Station Tavern - the food, service, and atmosphere are all really great.
