I love good, freshly baked bread and we have been looking all over San Diego to find it. Secret Sisters has the best country loaf yet and we highly recommend it!!!!!!!!! For us, it's a bit of a drive but worth it.
I decided to check out this bakery after hearing a few good things from people nearby, and it turned out to be a pretty nice experience. The pastries looked fresh and there was a good variety to choose from. I tried a couple of items and both had great flavor without being overly sweet. Honestly, I wanted to love this place so much, it is my jam. I’m not saying it’s bad but I was disappointed in the service I received. The gentleman at the till did not really want to serve me and was unhelpful, whenever I asked a question such as a drink carrier for my multiple drinks, I was looked at like I was crazy. A different staff member had to offer me a bag for my multiple items.
