Stella Jean's Ice Cream Kensington

I live in Arizona and walking my found this place. To sum it up I’m addicted to this ice cream. Every time we go to San Diego I have this ice cream 2 to 3 times a day.

This was one of our favorite places in Carlsbad! Delicious ice cream (and yummy waffle cone) to enjoy in a cozy seating area!

I went here for the first time today. I got three single dips to go, for sharing. They are absolutely delicious! Now this is definitely my favorite ice cream in town. My very favorite was the Brown Butter Pecan. The Hojicha & Salted Cream and the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread were also very good.

2024 Fall Season Flavor Rankings
1) Matcha Pistachio. No notes, perfect.
2) Sweet Potato Rock Road. I'd love for it to have chunks of chocolate
3) Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread. Good fall flavor but maybe chunks of cream cheese next time?
4) Hojicha + Salted Cream. The Hojicha is really strong. You've been warned.

I walked 30 minutes to get to Stella Jeans specifically for the peach tea ice cream. I get there and I don't have my wallet. I walk all the way back to my apartment, get my wallet, then pay $10 on Lyft to get back to the shop; then I paid $8 for the ice cream. Yes, it's worth it.

I was excited to try Stella Jean’s Ice Cream after hearing such great things. The ice cream itself was absolutely delicious, and I loved the variety of flavors. I even bought a pint to go!

Unfortunately, my experience was tarnished by the service. The employee seemed so unhappy, tired & miserable, even though there was no line and I was one of the first customers of the day. Her sour expression and dismissive attitude made me feel unwelcome TBH

While the ice cream was top-notch, I hope Stella Jean’s can improve their customer service by training their staff to be welcoming and approachable

20 dollars for a pint of guava cheesecake ice cream that contained ZERO guava.

Joshua was amazing! He let me sample flavors before deciding. He was friendly and the ice cream is delicious. If I’m in the area I like treat myself.
The atmosphere is too cute and the merchandise they have are so cute. I’ll be going back once they have size in stock.

Hands down, one of the best scoops of ice cream I’ve had! I got the popular flavor Ube and it was on point. Fresh ingredients no doubt. Definitely will come back to try other flavors.

Found this place recently and have become obsessed with their dairy free strawberry oat crumble. It's literally the only ice cream I want these days. Stella jean's or bust

And obviously the 3 year old loved it as well, she had s'mores
