My favorite ice cream in So Cal. I’ve tried Jeni’s Splendid, Salt & Straw, Mcconnell’s, and many other spots, but this is sincerely the best. If you haven’t tried the Ube Pandestal or Mango Sticky Rice, you haven’t lived. That surprising ice cream combo will stop you dead in your tracks and bring you ice cream eurphoria. The other flavors are excellent too.

Cute place! Very modern and young feeling. The s'mores was yummy as ever. The lady who helped us was nice! If I'm craving ice cream, I will be back!

The best ice cream in San Diego. They have some unique and delicious flavors. This will continue to be my go to spot.

Delicious ice cream. A great mix of interesting and standard flavors. Parking is rough but finding a spot and taking a stroll for some ice cream is nice anyway.

All four flavors we got were very good! (Ube Pandesal, earl grey citrus, mango sticky rice, and oaxacan cot chocolate) The flavors were well balanced and not too sweet. Feels very high quality. We got the split, which is a single scoop size, but two flavor choices. The mango sticky rice was both our favorites! Tastes exactly like it, it was crazy! They're dog friendly too!Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free and lactose free options

Love this icecream shop and all of their flavors! Got the ube pandesal which is a staple here and it's amazing. I would pass on the waffle cone tho it was super thick and stale.

Long time Stella Jean's fan here. Love that the Kensington location is just a walk away from me. I've been to this location a good amount since they've opened and they're always very friendly. Love that they're dog friendly as well. I always have to try their new seasonal flavors. Gotta grab em quick though, cus sometimes they do run out. They recently had their olive oil and coconut macaroon flavor for winter, which was released in December. Tried it last week, and came back this week, and they were already sold out! Luckily the university heights location still had some, but they also said they were almost sold out. I also appreciate how they have pop pie you can take home and warm up yourself, and coffee. I've tried their hojicha and Nola coffee, both pretty good. As for ice cream, my personal faves from their regular menu are the Ube and pan de sal toffee, milk and cookies, and mango stick rice.

I came here for dessert after dinner nearby with a group of friends on a Friday night and had a good experience! Despite there only being 1 employee working with a line of customers, we didn't need to wait too long once it was our turn to order. Stella Jean's has Filipino and Mexican inspired ice cream flavors which I love. My boyfriend and I split a double scoop and it was delicious! Everything from the flavor to texture made me want to go back. For around $6, we got the double scoop with Ube Pandesal Toffee and Mango Sticky Rice. The ube ice cream had these cookie crumble bits that mimics the pandesal flavor and the mango sticky rice being vegan was super flavorful and rich! The mango sorbet + the coconuty ice cream went well together. It was as if I ordered 2 flavors for the price of one in that scoop. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some good and unique ice cream flavors!
