I didn't try the food, but the cocktails were excellent. The beer list wasn't interesting, but they're a distillery not a brewery.
My wife's drink, something with Violet in the name, was pretty and delicious. I got a grapefruit drink that started out a touch too bitter, but became just right after a couple of sips. (See photos).
I also got a flight, because the Coastal Gin sounded good. I'm not a fan of the overly junipery English dry style; I like a more citrusy gin, and it hit the spot. My wife loved the rye whiskey too. We bought a bottle of the seasonal Torrey Pines gin.

‘Twas a pleasant experience start to finish. Quite the exquisite ambience, the various guests frolicking about with looks which appeared to ones of genuine joy. I shall return when I happen upon this fine metropolitan area once again.

Folks.. so nice place, good beer, however absolute chaos with ordering. First 30 min, lost my order. 2nd order sorry 10 min, 20 min go by, not a clue where the order is. Maybe its it Cisco rush, but table was number 2, they screwed up..

Came on a brief run. Had a sidecar and whiskey sour. Their expertise are cocktails and their meticulous bartenders display that skill.

Great drinks, but the vibes turned fast. so not worth it.
I asked for the tab early (we had a dinner res), tipped 28% and closed out. They offered “on the house” shots after. Cool, right? Nope.
The GM whispered to our server, then came over saying I still owed… $1.03? Weird, but I paid it and tipped again. Then he tells me, “You don’t tip. You keep hitting no tip.” Huh?? I had tipped twice already. (i have the bank statements to prove it).
When I asked for clarity, he got vague and passive-aggressive—saying I needed to pay back the discount no one asked for, in tips.
In the end, I tipped around $72 for one round of drinks and one round of shots.
It felt rude, aggressive, and honestly like I was being taken advantage of.
