Everything about this place is absolutely phenomenal. The ladies who run the show are sooooo focused and dedicated. The lady who took my order was especially sweet and emitted such warmth. Very much worth coming here, I will be coming back ..I ordered the tuna roll and Thai Tea with Boba .. best Thai Tea I’ve ever had ..

I work nearby and was very excited to learn this place existed! I ordered online for pick up. I arrived and was the only customer in the restaurant at lunch time. The cost I paid was noticeably higher than the prices posted online on a menu I saw. The employee said my card did not go through and asked to see it again- I ended up getting charged twice which they refunded a few days later. The sushi was grocery store style, pre-packed and not fresh with lots of rice that was not very good. This was an unsavory experience not worth the around $30 for 2 rolls. I thought something was going to be off as soon as I walked in. Won’t be back.

I love poke and it's hard to find a very good place, but this is it! I always get the chef creations with tuna, it's simple but so fresh ! And they prepared it with such great care! Another plus side is the price, less than $13 ! Next time I'll try the sushi, can't wait!

Friendly people, clean, well kept, but feels like dining in a grocery store eating sushi from Ralphs. That's the high points and the rest was downhill from here.Food came quickly but a few bites into my meal and my gluten intolerant companion spotted soy sauce. We explicitly asked when ordering. Thankfully not a celiac or it would have been epi pen time and possibly a visit to the hospital. Just a bout of awful stomach pain and bloating later on so, y'know, no biggie. Then the sushi itself… you'd be better off going to Trader Joe's and grabbing a few rolls there for a third of the price. The fish was pretty solid but the rice was not even close to half decent sushi rice. A good half of the rolls had imitation 'crab' meat as the base which is like eating wet packing peanuts.I've eaten my way across Japan and thoroughly enjoyed the sushi at 7-11, from the train buffet cart, and so on. So am down with everyday sushi. If you are looking for anything remotely authentic this is NOT the place to start your sushi journey. Disappointed given the high praise in the reviews here.Dietary restrictions: Absolutely terrible, asked for gluten free and the food came bathed in soy sauce.

Came in at 3:30pm with a party of 7 and were served quickly and with a smile. The food came out quickly considering how many of us were there and it was equally delicious. 10/10 recommend!

Great spot! Sushi was delicious and perfectly priced! We got the Island Shrimp Roll, the Hawaii Roll, and the Volcano Roll - all 3 were fresh and fantastic! Definitely coming back

They make rolls with soy paperr!!I was very surprised and impressed because i just moved here and i really don't know anything about this place. They really did patiently listen to my picky taste and try their best. I'm very happy and glad with the results. The rolls are very fresh and yummy good and their price is pretty fair for a restaurant in downtown. Can't wait to try it again!

I suppose I should have checked the reviews beforehand. My friends and I were craving sushi, we found the nearest place on our drive home and called to place an order. I didn't anticipate getting refrigerated sushi, and it tasted similar to grocery store sushi. Despite the spicy mayo and eel sauce, the cold sushi lacked flavor. This experience wasn't what I hoped for, and I won't return.

I drove my friend up to San Diego from TJ. She mentioned she wanted sushi and her little baby had a long day so we wanted a place we could sit down and eat quickly. A quick search on Google pulled up Su Su Sushi.I love sushi and it’s really hard to go wrong with any sushi in San Diego because it’s all pretty fresh.Su Su is a simple place. You go up to the counter, order your food, and sit down at a table. We ordered pork buns and poke bowls. All of it was fresh and good.

Not very good. Evocative of grocery store sushi. The service was extremely awkward. They use so much rice as a filler in their rolls which is a huge pet peeve of mine, and they were out of half of what we wanted to order. They didn’t have miso soup or tempura, which I found odd. I thought I didn’t like sushi until I was in my early 20s, because the caliber of sushi I had tried in my younger years was so low. This reminded me of that, unfortunately.

Service is friendly but the quality of the food is eh and the taste is bland. Please add photos to your menu.
