Very average food, bad sour coffee. Place looks quite dirty, lots of flies and smells bad. Service is fine but doesn’t make up for the rest.

The only coffee shop in North Park that feels comfortable and not like an Apple Store. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and plenty of outlets. Also super friendly staff and owner.

I spent $12 on one muffin and one coffee. The coffee was terrible; I got a mexican mocha which tastes like plain chocolate milk. My muffin was subpar. The entire experience was awkward and disappointing. I hope if you go you have a better impression because I definitely did not.

I came here with a friend, we got two muffins and they were pretty bad, but the drinks were even worse. Not coming back, though the service was super sweet.

Incredibly spacious coffee shop in the heart of North Park; The Best Coffee Shop in North Park for studying, reading a book, answering emails, playing pinball, catching a comedy show, and everything in between!!!

Such a great cafe, adorable kitschy environment— I feel like Batman would be a local here. Love the Bowie, Love the Chess, Love the Philippines. Love Subterranean. Please get their Salmon Lox bagel, rare to find a good one like this that doesn’t disappoint. Fresh, not a single weird bite TBH. Also get a Sparkling Lavender Lemonade, felt like I had superpowers today. All because of it I swear to god.

Great place to relax and have a coffee. The only complaint I could possibly have is that their hours are not quite as long as I would wish. Staff is also very friendly!

This is the most real coffee shop in North Park. I feel like a lot of coffee shops are starting to look like a very tired Instagram backdrop, which is very boring. I can always count on Sunterranian to be a real coffee shop for real people. The prices are great and the food is good without being overly precious. It feels like your friends livingroom, and I love it.

This is the vibe I love for a coffee shop. Chill without being too aloof. Friendly but not in your face. Great ambiance. Delicious menu.
Annnnnd they always tolerate my peanut butter & jelly latte request (plus it is FIRE - but so is everything they make!)

Cashier’s attitude sucks. Do better research and hire people who actually care about providing all paying customers with better service (especially those who aren’t rude to begin with), not to the selected few.

Edited in response to owner’s reply: the fact that you’re going out of your way to reply to my review by denying that you have a terrible cashier says a lot. Open your eyes, man. Oh wait, you can’t, otherwise your NP cafe would’ve had more customers and looked better than Lovesong Coffee.

Ordered breakfast burrito with soyrizo and spinach in it. Learn how to roll a burrito. All the spurious was on one side. When I took a bite from the left side it was a mount full of soyrizo and nothing else. Asked for an iced oat latte. I get it that’s espresso and too much oat milk. Tastes like oat milk solo. When I thanked them for making my food and drink she didn’t even look up or say you’re welcome. Order taker was kind barrista entitled hipster with a bad haircut and a snarl.

Their food is pretty good but none of their prices are posted. You have to ask for individual prices to know what anything costs. Even the menu at the counter isn't updated.
