I celebrated my birthday here, it was SO FUN AND AMAZING! The service from Nancy was above and beyond. They made sure my table had a fun, amazing time. The manager was also extremely accommodating and kind. The group there led by Nancy, really made sure that I had the best birthday. I couldn’t believe how great they were. I am definitely a lifelong customer.
Not sure if it was just the evening but as you can see they sat us in the worse spot of the place, there was hardly anyone. Maybe cause I’m from Los Angeles I was excepting something better, there was no candy room, there was a hair in my daughter burger, we told them, the burger was good but they still charged us, also they had no rubber duck , which is a standard for The mini burger and the blue drink for a child was 39 dollars , which is stupid. I’m assuming they are trying to make it more of an adult place? Not sure but it does not have the charm that we had in Los Angeles. The waitress was nice, but nothing to write home about. If your looking for that fun ,candy environment I woudl not recommend it, about two blocks down there is a great ice cream place and a candy place. Also there is restaurants around There that are amazing and better quality food and not as much money. I ordered the grilled cheese and I ate it cause it was soo expensive and I wa a hungry, but my daughter makes a better one. Such a bummer
This was my first visit to San Diego, Sugar Factory. We had the rainbow pancakes and chicken and waffles. It was so cute! Our friends got the burgers and they were massive and juicy. I had a bite of the big cheese and wish I had my own. The service was also incredible. The server was busy so the manager, Brittany came over and took our orders, brought our food and checked to make sure we were happy. She took the time to ask us about the sights and gave ideas for other local fun before we leave. It was a wonderful experience and we wish we lived closer!
I'm so sad because we were so looking forward to this experience! The drink I ordered was $18 and didn't look or taste good..it was funky like mold. The menus smelled like a dirty dish rag...trash on floor...on seats...just don't get it. No candy or merchandise to purchase bc they closed that section. One good comment is that our server was super friendly and she was hustling to take care of all her tables ? The burgers were tasty..But unfortunately the atmosphere was nothing like the hype
What a wild place! Definitely a new experience. Large menu and amazing drinks. The goblet drinks are pretty awesome. They pour your drink over the ice at your table and the picture shows what happens. ☺️ So much to look at. The candy store was closed as it's under construction. I will be going back for sure.
I was wary going here because of the reviews, but is was awesome! Our server, Sean, was attentive and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations and we had an amazing meal. The burger was juicy and the bun was a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The onion rings and dipping sauces were delicious and shakes were out of this world! We will definitely be back.
Nice spot to see a show will definitely return.
Rude, disinterested employees, “meh” food at exorbitant prices, and God help you if you need captioning devices that they claim to have. The disinterested manager told me they have to be reserved several days in advance and then they’d see what they can do. Other theaters have the nice recliners and some have their own “meh” food service. (Stick to popcorn, it’s hard to ruin). Our seats were comfortable, but my daughter’s was broken down. Overall it looks and feels rundown and is staffed by disinterested employees. It’s nothing special. Look at the full dinner salad I ordered for nearly $20 and the sad, soggy, side salad size salad they finally brought me. The server had to make three trips to deliver two entrees, then eating utensils, then napkins. But that was about 1/2 hour after he’d taken our order, so it was really 5 trips, no! 6! One to take the order, one to bring our beverages, one to come up and ask again what we ordered (‘cause he forgot), then the three others I already mentioned, and Dave just reminded me that at about 1 hour 40 minutes, they brought us some huge random sandwich we didn’t order. He tried to hand it to several other people after we refused, so he started eating it as he carried it back to the kitchen. Just don’t go.
The gentleman that worked tonight all by himself did an excellent job! Would definitely come again just for having him be so friendly and caring!
Overall: my first time visiting any Sugar Factory and I must admit, this was a fun experience. The decor was interesting, the music was full of vybz, the food was beautiful and delicious, and the milkshakes were creative and filling. I highly recommend anyone to experience a Sugar Factory whenever possible!Food: I basically built my own burger and asked them to add plantains on it which they happily fulfilled for me. The food was a lot, even for just a burger and fries. I had a basic vanilla milkshake but it paired well with my fries. The only thing was the straw became difficult to drink from after a while. It's a paper straw.Service: my servers were competent and helpful. They worked the system so I wouldn't have to pay too much extra to build the burger of my dreams.

At theatre 1 and it’s not clean. Dr strange 2 is supposed to be starting now. The theatre was not clean, butter machine broken, candy store is closed, air conditioner . Don’t come here.
A very disappointing experience to be honest … made reservation for my daughter‘s birthday … nowhere on their website did it mention that they’re going under renovation if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have made my reservations to start with … the lack of service / server came to our table we weren’t ready literally came back 10 minutes after … took our order not once asked if we wanted to add soft drinks for my kids or even offer me any bar drinks what’s so ever … so we just had waters … yes I know we could’ve asked but then where is the customer service? Also your DJ playing explicit music when there are little kids all around it sure felt like I was in the club … The only good things were the food and the people who clean tables … they brought us water refills napkins and togo boxes …
Amazing customer service! Rodrigo the manager was so helpful in making our experience unforgettable! Gina the waitress was kind and happy to help even through our party was a rowdy bunch of 12!
The business is remodeling. Staff is short handed. Meals were as expected - good but nothing extraordinary and pricy. Service was slow but staff was nice.
This place has truly gone downhill!! I mean the place hella dirty and they ran out of alcohol and totally disorganized. I would rather pay the more expensive movie experience at the LOT now. They need to take down the luxury out out of the title. The escalator was broken couldn’t take the stairs. And the dirty elevator working. And it took forever to get our food and drinks during the movie. Nick Cannon & Pitbull need to seriously check in now. Such shame to cuz I liked walking from building to this theater. Would not recommend anyone going to this theater. Way ghetto now.
