We keep coming back!
Every now and then we go explore other sushi places, only to say Kami Sushi is better :)
We always get the salmon sashimi. Many times I reorder the lemon albacore roll and my husband likes the Sakura roll. Recently we got one with scallops and which was delicious!

My Fiancée and I have been coming here for a while so we figured it was time to leave a review. We eat sushi OFTEN and this place is consistently one of the best we come to. The fish is always fresh, rice is delicious, and overall menu is solid. If you want a great all around sushi experience, come here.

Lunch special is really good. The salad that come with it is a little sad but everything else makes up for it.

It was okay, but not really what I expected. The food tasted a bit dry, and I didn’t get the miso soup that usually comes with it.

The highlight of our trip was dining at this charming restaurant tucked away in a quiet street. The chef’s tasting menu was a culinary journey — every dish beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. My favorite was the lamb tagine, tender and perfectly spiced. The wine list complemented the meal perfectly, and the sommelier was very helpful. The setting is intimate and perfect for a romantic dinner. Truly a memorable experience.

We ordered in advance during Valentine’s Day . The location is a little inconvenient to drive into, but both crazy- the turn coming from the freeway is easy to confuse and the U-turn you have to make is awkward. The restaurant was pretty empty but it looked clean. The staff was a little cold to us but we received good service. We got to the restaurant and our food still took an extra 10-15 minutes to be ready. The food was good, they use good quality ingredients, the rice was fresh, and overall had a nice flavor. The one, pretty big, complaint I had was- my boyfriend and I ordered one roll each, but for some reason they put them both in one box. We were staying at a hotel so we had to split the box in half and move one roll using our hands (which was hard because of the toppings and sauce). Overall, it’s good and I would eat it again, but not it’s not really that memorable, and I would ask for separate boxes for take out, since it’s not obvious apparently.

This spot has delicious sushi! I used to work at a clinic nearby and would get their sushi to-go for a quick healthy lunch. I love the lemon rolls - they have one with salmon and one with yellow tail. If you’re craving something lighter, I’d recommend the yellowtail. All rolls are pretty hearty so I have one to myself and am satisfied! For reference, I normally have 2 specialty rolls to myself at most other places. Recommend for a quick lunch spot if you’re in Rancho Bernardo and craving sushi!
We ordered takeaway here yesterday, and thought the sushi was not worth it for the cost.
While we had no issues with our order, I found it overpriced for what you get.
There are numerous other options with as good or better quality for a better price in the area.
