Reasonably priced lunch special keeps me coming back every week. I go every week I can get a reservation. The owner is very friendly and works very hard to serve the customers a good sushi experience
The experience was overall mid, I could really taste the difference in the quality of the sushi. The area I'm a little underwhelmed with is the service. I ordered the chef's nigiri, a roll, and clam miso. I don't know if my server just wasn't really paying attention or because I was a solo diner she wanted to get my total up a bit but she didn't tell me that the chef's nigiri came with miso already and she even said it was her mistake but charged...
Food is excellent; service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. A higher priced place but definitely worth it for special occasions! Highly recommend! Note it's highly recommended to have a reservation, otherwise you may not get a table. Parking is pretty limited out front but has more in the back if you go up Bunker Hill Street about a half block and turn in towards the restaurant ( the direction depends upon where you're coming from).
