It’s okay for north park it’s just not very good. Food sometimes comes out cold and just seems to be understaffed. The prices could be better for what they serve. Typical diner food for the most part. The location in La Mesa is much much better with way better service. We ordered a salad once and it took 45 minutes. A salad…

Overall good!.
What makes it less desirable, at least for me is the totally open concept.
Meaning, flying bugs get overly close to the food and therefore, you must stay vigilant if clean food is your requirement.

The staff is attentive, the food was better than expected and it's nice to be able to go wash your hands without having to fetch a key to do so ?.

Additionally, if you're into eating all fresco, there will be patrons outside with dogs that their owners refuse to behave. Much like their kids.

Just not good, service or food.
It’s counter service, they give you a number, so we figured they’d bring the drinks out to us. After about 10 minutes, I walked up to the counter and asked, the employee behind the counter, said he wasn’t sure but he would give me my ice teas since that person is not working.

And then the breakfast burrito is probably the worst I’ve had in San Diego, watery, oily, loosely wrapped, flavorless, with potatoes in the side.

I just don’t get it - 3rd attempt to try this place and it comes up short every time.

I came to this place a few years ago and then I just came back again a few days ago and I loved it.
I have celiac and I can’t eat gluten. And they’re very mindful when it came to this. They answered all my questions and they were very well informed about cross contamination as well.
I had a gluten free pancake with chocolate chips and strawberries.
A must go if you have food allergies ?

Parking: I rode the Harley & parked for free out front. Looked plentiful though.

Kid-friendliness: Yes. Comfortable for all.

Wheelchair accessibility: Best place for access I have been to in SD.

Get very busy for brunch on the weekend and limited parking. However the venue is cool, staff is friendly and food came out quick. We made our pancakes vegan and were delicious.

It’s a North Park vibes casual dining. French fries were great, ranch was good.
We really enjoyed the Mahi Fish Burrito and the burgers were great.

If you don’t mind self service than everything is good.

Vegetarian options: Even vegan options

Expensive for little to no service. You get your own drinks, to go containers, utensils, coffee refills, very adult cafeteria like. There was a fly in our table syrup. The guacamole was surely store bought, unexpected for a place to close to delicious avocados. Good portions though. Sorry to be a bubble burster or maybe I'm just on one today but the hype was not met

I'm giving the lowest score for food because Swami's comes up on searches for vegan food. They do not have vegan options. They do not offer dishes that are plant-based. They don't offer dishes were developed without dairy or meat products. It is disappointing when the only way to eat plant-based at a restaurant is to completely dismantle their dishes and hope there is still nice flavor and texture.

I feel this review is necessary because they are marketing Swami's as vegan and plant-based, as they come in Google searches and lists. This restaurant is NOT VEGAN.
