I'm writing a review about this company..I was hired to work at the Shelby township location .I'm much older then all of the employees I feel because of my age I had a target on my back .please don't support this company by buying their food. They don't support people over the age of 50 to work for them .and they hire employees that are all best friends that is a disvantage for new employees coming in the company to work .I had told the manager at the Shelby township store I didn't really think mean girls and men didn't exist anymore but they are mean girls
First time there yesterday. Delic!! Staff was Fabulous!! Especially Ashley!!
Encontramos un gusano caminando tranquilamente en nuestra ensalada.
I recently ordered a meal and mistakenly ordered it for pickup. I immediately called to cancel but Sweetgreen said that 1 minute was too late to cancel because it was an ASAP order. Then I had to wait 2 hours for my reorder to be delivered although that was an ASAP order. When I complained to customer service all I kept getting was automated responses saying they understand how frustrated I must be feeling. Terrible customer service. Just salad for me from now on.

I loved this place, it was always fresh, great taste, big portions, but as I finished my salad with maybe 2 bites lift I found a huge fly of some sort at the bottom 🤮 unfortunately I’ll never be able to eat it again.
Don’t come to this sweet green. Terrible portion sizes for the amount they are charging. I’ve been to dozens of other sweet greens before and this one by far is skimping you the most. Plus you know they’re throwing away so much food at the end of the night so it’s pretty ridiculous. They want to charge you over $20 for a salad and then give you a portion size as if it’s World War II. I’ve worked in restaurant service before and if you really care about customers coming back, you would give them their portion sizes for what they’re paying. I asked an employee if she could give me a little bit more and she said no yet, I know at the end of the night they’re just going to throw that food away.

Love my shroomami bowl. It usually gets busy at this location but they move fast and service is friendly!

Don't come here at lunch time, you will literally wait one hour for your salad.
They have 3 people making 100 orders.

Actually, the worst sweet green to ever exist... They have staffing issues, food issues, and everything in between. Jodi, one of the employees, needs to be fired immediately. I said what I wanted in my bowl, and she put the wrong ingredients in multiple times. Which caused her to have to remake my bowl three separate times. I specifically said no rice, and she put rice in after I told her I didn't want it. I've had her make my salad on multiple separate occasions, and she's incompetent. The other staff just stay in the back, leaving one person to deal with the entire line, causing delays and them to rush you through your order, which causes mistakes and the salad not being made well. The food is often overcooked or has little to no flavor. It's not worth spending your money here.

Very disappointing service. Had higher expectations given that this place is known to sell pricey salads and bowls, but ended up waiting around 25 minutes to be serviced (only one person with one order was in front of us). The staff who put our order together also literally plopped our food in the bowl. Like some of the food splattered out of the bowl, and don’t even get me started on how the end product looked like (similar to how it would look if it was vomited - to put it in the nicest way possible).
If you want to try sweetgreen, I recommend going to another location, or ordering online to not deal with such disappointing quality of service. This made McDonald’s seem to have premium service.

As an avid sweetgreen enjoyer, I must say this location is severely lacking the quality I’m used to. the portion sizes ridiculously small, there’s always multiple employees twiddling their thumbs in the back while the line grows. They also never offer the free bread, I mean, come on. It’s not on the secret menu, it’s free bread! This location has made me question the need for a $17 salad. I’ve been to sweetgreens all over the country, and this one is definitely towards the bottom of the list… sad
