Wait time on weekend is insane! Waited for more than one hour. Vegetables are delicious but the beef dish is such small amount! Very thin slices!

The quality of the employees here is very bad, and the service attitude is particularly poor. The first time I went here, I ate in the store. When I checked out, the waiter asked for my 18% tip; the second time I took it away, she asked for 15% of the tip, and it was not cooked well. The third time I called to order food. After the phone was connected, I greeted. She replied rudely, 'What's your business, tell me quickly.'

I had the beef and pickled spicy pepper, tasted great. However I got food poisoning from eating it and have been sick for 24 hours. Not sure if this is common here but they need to step up cleanliness and food prep protocols in there kitchen. There was definitely someone who touched my meal w uncean hands which must have had human feces on them sadly

It tastes good. It does not smell like MSG. But the quality of the ingredients is not good. After eating, the two of them ran around like crazy.

This Chinese restaurant is authentic and delicious with a high spicy level. We ordered some their top pick dishes, like smashed eggplant and century egg, spicy beef entrails, pork bun, and Hunan spicy beef. The eggplant and century egg was their first pick and tasted amazing, especially with rice. The other entrees were great, but I liked the top pick the most. The majority of entrees were highly spicy, but did not serve with rice. Rice was also not unlimited after ordering. Seats could be limited. We came here early, so no need to wait. But there was a long line when we left.

I agree this is the best restaurant I have visited in San Diego. better than any restruant in Convoy street.
I will visit again and only regret is it is a little far from my home.
I revisited it yesterday and totally changed my mind, it is an average restaurant. I order four dishes:
1. 腰子猪肚, this dish I ordered last time, and it is still OK
2. 清炒窝荀 is only one-third of small dishes, 15.99 for it. no one would buy it again.
3. 宫保鸡丁, this is the worst 宫保鸡丁 I ever ate in my life. It is very sweet and the color is white
4. 牛肉炒面, it is absolutely not better than my home cooking.
I think I would not revisit it.

I have always eaten here before, and the food has always been excellent!
I ordered delivery today. The ingredients were the same, but they probably weren't fried by a master chef. The skill of the wok was very poor. As a representative of typical Hunan cuisine, the farm-style stir-fried pork is cooked to perfection! Not at all the level they should be.

This restaurant seems to be very delicious in the eyes of Americans, but as a Hunanese, I really don’t think it is the taste of Hunan. There is not enough pepper, not enough acidity, and the portion is not very big. Overall, as a person who can eat spicy food, Not recommended
Their service attitude is really bad. They didn't reply to me when I asked for anything. I wanted vinegar and ginger. I had to finish my xiaolongbao before they gave me the ginger and vinegar. And their attitude was really bad.
Not worth the wait, if no wait go and give it a try. Not really authentic Hunan flavors, awful service, super rude to us for no reason, the whole time I didn't even know who our server was. We ordered and twice they came back and said items are sold out, changed our orders twice, waited 45 minutes for food and was disappointed.

Authentic and filling, don’t be put off by price, the entrees here are family sized and enough for 3-4 people and the taste was sincere. Fantastic service. I had to do takeout despite usually eating enough for 2-3 people.
Definitely returning with friends and colleagues who are fans of authentic Chinese cuisine.
