Favorite restaurant in San Diego along with its sister restaurant in Point Loma. Great vegetarian dishes like Chana Masala, Veggie Coconut Curry and Ram Torya (Okra). Masala tea is excellent and Achari Chicken is a really unique dish. Also don't miss the veggie Pakora.

Food was okay but can’t substitute rice with naan for the curry. Service was really slow despite having only 1-2 table with customers

Malai Kofta and Korma were super bland, I had to add my own spices at my house. It was honestly not worth the price of ordering it, I've had more flavorful frozen Indian meals from the grocery store.

I had an opportunity to dine in here had an amazing experience had momo curry and rice which felt like back home. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving for Nepali food.
We came in on a Friday night and it took quite a while to be served. But I understand that staffing issues are a challenge for everybody these days. And the servers that were there were very attentive when they could be and hopefully the food was fresh and yummy. It just took a long time to get and that's the reason I gave them four stars. I ordered one of the appetizers. That's in the picture which was a chicken vegetable dish and it was quite delicious.Although a little spicy for my taste and my dinner mates ordered the tiki masala and it was a very generous portion and also too spicy for my taste so I didn't need much of that but I understand that it was quite delicious.

Fantastic food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere and really friendly staff.
Honestly, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. I will definitely go back if in the area.
The photo might look a little misleading. It’s actually a pretty big portion. I had the samosas, some naan and the tikka masala. 10/10!

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.....
Ordered himalayan biryani which is a combo of chicken, shrimp and lamb...
The Taste was okay but not great..
Found only one shrimp in the whole packet .
Will avoid next time & do not recommend ... spending $21 was not worth..👎👎👎👎👎

Ordered take out from here, and had a couple of major issues. While the channa masala and veg pakora were both fine, there were two main takeaways:
1. The paneer tikka masala did not come as ordered... instead it came with chicken. Since we are both vegetarian, this ruined lunch for my wife (I'd ordered by channa masala too spicy for her tastes)
2. The garlic naan was the worst naan I've had (and I've eaten many). Paper thin, hard, dry... the opposite of a good naan.
Had it just been the naan, well, whatever, but meat in a vegetarian dish... that's too far.
Vegetarian options: Don't trust the vegetarian options, as in our experience, it came with meat.

Restaurantji Recommends
The food tasted whatever, the lamb was gamey and the portion size for tge main entrees was skant. A lot of sauce and very little protien. I might be able to understand the lamb since it's expensive but the chicken is inexcusable. 7 pieces of chicken in the chicken Tikka masala should be a crime. The rice was mushy to. The Biyarni was good which is why they got 1 more star than just 1. For the price of the dishes I expected dinner but got a lunch special amount for one.

Naan was good but curry was too watery and tangy

We ordered the tikka masala and bhanta ra chicken, both at a 6 spice level, naan, and raita. Unfortunately all of the dishes were very sweet, especially the tikka masala, and the chicken in the bhanta ra was ivercooked. They weren’t very spicy at all and the naan came out significantly after the rest of the food.

I’ve had better Indian food in San Diego. The lamb vindaloo is so soupy and traditionally it not. Food was lacking in those big bold Indian spice flavors and for a medium in spice level we didn’t taste any heat. The naan was soggy and lacking in garlic and just a few pieces of cilantro. The papadum arrived and most of the pieces were broken. The mint chutney was also very milky which is not normal. We were craving Indian food but this place did not deliver. Service was good and ambiance was nice.

We had ordered lamb tarkari using door dash. Asked for spicy level 6 out of 10 but it came as if someone has put some lamb in pepper solution. We had to trash the food. I can handle spices but this one came as bad as drinking the chilly solution! Upon calling, they did not even acknowledge it! Never eating again!
