While the staff can be forgetful at times, they are also super helpful and attentive. Wait times can be long, but the quick service for food makes it worthwhile. The inside is clean and nice with table seating. The garlic sauce eggplant is noted as quite possibly the best dish customers have ever tasted, filled with flavor. Parking can be a challenge, but once inside, the lively atmosphere and delicious food make it a top spot in San Diego. The space is large enough so that seating will open up sooner or later. Guests particularly enjoy the garlic green beans, dumplings, wontons, and the curry noodle soup, with many praising the thin skin and generous filling. The Sheng-jian-bao is the best one can get around southern California and other Shanghai style items are all consistently good. The restaurant can be very loud, making it hard to carry on a conversation. Overall, Tasty Noodle House offers great food and nice staff, making it a must-visit for anyone in the area.
