This mom and pop shop that serves great seafood is one of the best in Mira Mesa area. We had the soft shell crab platter and seafood platter and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the place is spacious. We will definitely go back and recommend it to our friends and family.
First time eating here1. Great service: quick and easy to order. Service was fast2. Steamed fish was delicious, highly recommend3. The wings... could be better but this is a fish place. They were good I just wouldn't get the wings next time

Awwww mannnn....I JUST found this place about a month ago, and today... just learned that Sunday, 23 April 2023; The Fancy Fish will be closing. I'm heartbroken for many reasons. Mainly, because the owner and staff are amazing and super sweet, and also because the Hong Kong Style Whitefish is SO DAMN GOOD... I legit have dreams about it.
