Came here on a Thursday and got a nicely poured Guinness. It was solid but nothing beat the creaminess of a Guinness from Europe. The bartender was chill though.
Came here a 2nd time and we had a full dinner. We ordered the Chicken Boxty and the Shepard’s Pie. Really nice food! Also our server was an absolute workhorse!

This was our 2nd time, and the food was just as wonderful as last time. Make sure you come hungry! So many great things to try. My favorite is the Irish sampler, a little bit of everything. The fish was light & perfectly cooked (the tartar sauce with the kick of dill is how I make it at home & amazing), the bangers & mash were spot on. We completely over ate to try dessert & it was also wonderfully delicious.

Awesome atmosphere - they went all out for Halloween decorations and it really felt cozy and comfortable inside. The staff in particular were super nice, we went for a birthday celebration and we'd definitely go back.

The shepherds pie was delicious and it paired well with my Kilkinney Cream Ale! Service was excellent both at the door when looking for a table and again once inside. Can't get any more authentic of an Irish pub in SoCal than when your shipping 40ft containers filled with Old Ireland's hidden treasures to dress up your place. Highly recommend any day of the week when you want good wholesome Irish viddels and a cold pint to wash it down with!

The Field is an amazing Irish Pub in the Gas Lamp District. Stephanie was our server and she was engaging and attentive. The Guiness was perfect and the Shepard's Pie was 10 out of 5 stars!!!!! When in San Diego this is a must go to!
