Just a perfect find on our trip and stay in the gaslight district for business. Food was fresh and expertly prepared. The price was very fair in general, but especially considering the location. We tried other places before we ended up here, and then we just kept coming back. I think that says everything.Thank for the wonderful food and recommendations.
Some of the best sushi I've ever had! Everyone from the hostess, to the servers, to the itamae were inviting and friendly. Will definitely be back next time I'm in San Diego.

If you come to SD, you must try. This place is the real deal. As a self declared foodie who has travelled the world looking for the best eats, I fully endorse Taka. Sat at the sushi bar and had a great experience! They even have a bottle of Habushi from Okinawa behind the counter. You must ask them to show you! Pretty cool!
