Could not fault it. Seeing 5 stars gives me pause for most restaurants in San Diego, especially those that have been standing for 20+ years. What is it that makes the average diner feel they are eating at a 5 star restaurant? Is it the food? The ambience? Whatever it is, they have it. Some of my favorite seafood dishes in the world don't even come close to the Macadamia crusted halibut, or the Swordchop au Poivre. The hand roll special with uni and toro was absolutely unbelievable....
Really nice neighborhood restaurant. Out of the tourist crowds. We had a delicious and lovely dinner while sitting outside. Food beautifully presented and tasty. Wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood.
This is a very good restaurant, especially for locals as there is only street parking available. It is not easy to find parking, so seniors or anyone who has limited mobility needs to be dropped off to avoid a long walk. But once you're there, the experience is consistently good.
