My first time ever ordering from a Habit Burger was a couple of days ago, and my two burgers were great! They were hot, they were juicy, they were loaded with flavor! I ordered again today, and the four burgers were not even luke warm, they were cold. They didn't look recently made. Part of the buns were soggy, part of the buns were hard. They tasted extremely salty! The tempura string beans were luke warm and too salty.

I went to Habit Burger on my birthday and had a pretty good experience overall. I got a free Charburger through their rewards program, which was a nice touch. The burger itself was really good—flavorful and satisfying. Personally, I found it a tad on the smaller side, but it was still filling. I’d just prefer if it were a little bigger, though that’s just preference.
We also ordered the sirloin burger, and that one was delicious—the bread was super airy and paired perfectly with the meat. The fries were a highlight too: really fresh, crisp, and flavorful, some of the best fries I’ve had from a chain.
But honestly, what surprised me most was the lemonade. They have dragonfruit and strawberry lemonade, and both are bursting with flavor—probably the best lemonade I’ve ever had at a burger chain. We got both, and you can’t go wrong with either one.
The only downside was the cashier. She came off a bit snappy and kind of rude, which wasn’t the best vibe. That said, I wouldn’t judge the whole service off of one experience—I’d like to think most of the staff aren’t like that.
Overall, great food and amazing drinks. Definitely worth visiting, especially if you’re a lemonade lover.

I think Habit Burger is overhyped. The milkshake lacked flavor—Carl’s Jr. makes a better one. I ordered the Teriyaki Char with Cheese, and the pineapple looked old and unappetizing. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I won’t be going back.

Just a quick note to acknowledge the manager at The Habit on Clairemont Mesa. I’m not sure of her name, but she’s a lovely woman who runs the store impeccably. Her professionalism, excellent customer service, and the way she makes the salads—absolutely the best—deserve special recognition.

This place has the worst staff I’ve ever dealt with in my life. They are beyond rude and straight up AWFUL. The food is good but the management are the WORST. They have no idea how to treat customers and they are clueless as to how to use their own app. They many times have refused to let me use my coupons that are valid and non expired. The general manager called me a liar the other day in front of the whole restaurant and let a whole line behind me wait a long time because she refused to let me use a coupon that had been emailed to me. Another time I was here, I am hard of hearing, a woman yelled in my face because I couldn’t understand her cuz I’m hard of hearing and she screamed at me then laughed with other employee about it. I HATE coming here I dread it but my son loves their food and we live next door. I genuinely hate this place. Thank God we are moving and never have to come here again. The male staff are so kind, the women are a NIGHTMARE!!! Also their sweet potato fries are saggy, wilted, etc gross.

Terrible customer service. I placed an order online, then called to make a quick modification since there’s no option to do that online. The woman who answered named Ashley sounded half-asleep and told me the location was closed—even though it clearly showed as open and accepted my order. She put me on hold, came back saying, “Oh, it’s open,” then immediately hung up on me.
When I arrived to pick up my food, I asked if they had a direct phone number. She said yes, but then added that “no one knows the number,” which makes no sense. Overall, just a frustrating and unprofessional experience. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.
