We stayed at the Hyatt for 6 nights so we had our share of pitstops at The Landing. The positives are the staff, we interacted with the servers, bartenders and food runners. We had really positive experiences with Jana and Jojo, great servers! As for the food we really enjoyed the Cheesecake as well as the Turkey Club and Fries. Also not sure how they did it but even the simple diet coke was insanely crisp and tasty. I would definitely recommend these items. The downsides was some of the food, other things we ordered throughout our stay was the Panzanella Salad, Hot Honey Salmon, Red Wine Braised Short Rib, Chocolate Cake and Carrot Cake. The Panzanella salad we got the end pieces of the squash which was not preferred. Also the olives looked visibly older as well. For the Hot Honey Salmon, the salmon was slightly overcooked and the potatoes felt a bit overwhipped. As for the Red Wine Braised Short Rib, the meat was extremely dried out, same potato review as the last dish. For desserts the Chocolate Cake tasted extremely grainy. Overall the employees are extremely nice, as for the food, I would just stick to the Burgers, Sandwiches and Cheesecake!

Food took little longer but otherwise everything was excellent! Located inside of the Grand Marriott next to the Convention Center. Great location. Basically connected to Seaport Village, walkable distand to Gaslamp Quarters. Great for shopping, food, walkable to everywhere.

I know it may just seem like your average hotel bar, but service and staff really make all the difference. It was my last night in San Diego, Ben Jamin was very attentive, efficient, and took the time to be engaging, even with the bar being packed. If you get a chance to stop in here, I highly recommend you do.

My wife attended a convention and classes for 3 days at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. I hung out here for 6-8 hours on my computer during that time. Plug ins avail against the bench seating. I took along power and extension cords just in case. I observed the waiters/waitresses tend to their customers very quickly for the breakfast rush. I was approached a few times if I wanted food or drink and I declined. The staff left me alone ( thankfully) as I waited for my wife to return throughout the day during breaks in her classes. The evening bar scene continued in the same fashion, making sure the guests were taken care of. This place has a large screen tv and 6 smaller size tv’s. The place does seem grand. See photos of the menu options and the current prices. This is a nice establishment.

Excellent drink options and a nice variety of food choices. The food is very good and the prices are high but not crazy. Lots of seats and great views of the bar and hotel lobby. I recommend the bamboo roll sushi 🍣

Really good hotel food and cocktails. My burger was juicy and tasty!
The drinks taste great, place has a nice ambiance, but no one came to check on us once or even asked if we wanted anything. We had to go up to the bar and flag someone down. Also, we went to the restroom very quickly and when we returned our table was literally empty and wiped clean. So when we're sitting there, no one even looks at us, but the moment we step away to use the restroom... LOL. Just unusual.
For a hotel lobby dining experience, The Landing is one of the best. The drinks are ample and reasonably priced. The food is slightly expensive but turns out to be worth it. Nothing extravagant on the menu but honest value and flavor. We had the Chicken Wings and the Burger with fries. Large burger with ample toppings and crispy fries. The chicken was crispy and flavorful with a unique dry RUB and a vinegary sweet dipping sauce. Excellent quick service.
Is it possible that a hotel bar has the best burger you've ever eaten? It is if you're at The Landing. Amazing food. The service was excellent. In spite of how busy they were, they were friendly and on the ball. If you're staying at the Hyatt, or even if you're not, have drinks and dinner here. You won't regret it. P.S. The fries are as good as the burger and service.

We had a great burger, chicken wings, and cocktails. We love the staff, they are treated us very well. It's big, roomy and has TVs to watch many different sports and it is well lit. They had a burger called the HULK, looked really good, I saw people eating it but I just can't think about eating a green bun, lol. I WISH I could see peoples faces, It kind of freaks me out that I can't, it putting them at risk to wear those all day, so sad.
Thank you Maria, Dina, Cale & Juan
I WOULD RECOMMEND.
