Try out this place the neighborhood cafe. It's bomb and cheaper than most place. A huge plate of food is about 7-8 buck and I got a vietnamese coffee with boba for 4 buck. This place is awesome and nice workers who brought food to me which I don't see ever. It's a collab with UPAC that's why they're awesome. Enjoy! You won't regret. Sorry no pic of the vietnamese ice coffee, I drank it all in like 5 minutes. Lol 20 buck for two days worth of food. Heck yes!

I wanna preface this by saying that I hate writing bad reviews. The service could be better. I got the overall vibe that I'm not welcomed here. A male employee in the back wearing a red apron was staring at me like I just insulted his mom in the worst possible way:The food is yummy. I got a loco moco and lumpia. There is a girl by the name of Kay (that's what it said on my receipt) and she seemed like she didn't wanna be at work. Someone kept calling to her and one of her coworkers to let her know that I was waiting.
Good food and good people. Dante, Eddie and the youths there created a cafe environment that's bright, welcoming and full of good food at good prices. Their mission is amazing and it brings me joy to get food there. Thank you Upac/The Neighborhood Cafe.

Hands down! My favorite place to come visit. There are a lot of great things about it!1. Location: In the middle of City Heights and there is a parking lot with LOTS of parking. It's a small space but not too difficult to spot2. Food: IS DELICIOUS. I get try to different foods from all different cultures. My favorite is the Loco Moco and Thai Chicken Salad, HOWEVER, I almost ALWAYS come here and order the Bev's Shake3. Price: AMAZING! For the portion size and the types of food I am getting, totally worth it4. Service: The staff and the serve are amazing and sweet. The amazing thing is that it hires teens from the neighborhood to teach them skills/earn income at the same time.I love the mission of UPAC and what this little cafe represents. Sometimes, I come and just sit to look at the mural and how it encompasses the values of City Heights is through the diversity.

This is an amazing hidden gem of a cafe and catering service. Run by and for youths of the diverse City Heights community, they serve all sorts of food and refreshments at a very reasonable price. And everything tastes great, from the chicken adobo or other cultural dishes to the spicy chicken sandwich!

I just had the best chicken sandwich of my life at Neighborhood Cafe! Super friendly staff and delicious, fresh food. The prices are much lower than you would expect for such a great meal. The chicken sandwich was only $6.50, to give you an idea. Would definitely go back. 10/10!
