Quick bite and drinks after work opened up the evening and kick-started a nice weekend. Service was good, food was good, views of the baseball game at the stadium, and all within walking distance of home.
The Rooftop was a good experience overall due to the ambience and food, and thankfully, it was not noisy. Our party of seven guests enjoyed the Mother's Day celebration with good food and good conversation. Surprisingly, it was not busy, but it also made us wonder why it took forever to get our food. In the heart of San Diego, The Rooftop by STK is not above the restaurant, but rather the Andaz Hotel. With that in mind, you’ll have to enter the hotel and head to the top. The space is really well maintained with decor that’s typical of the Andaz—modern with elements of pop art. There’s a giant mural of Aubrey Hepburn and co-ed bathroom entrances. That kind of vibe.
