The rose is a very cute spot. Cons: the menu is limited, not too many options. Parking, challenging to find a spot.
Pros: the service, very friendly servers. The food is really good!

This place is a SD staple that I’ve found myself returning to again and again. Perfect for a date night or a solo date with my book and my dog (they have an outdoor patio). 🐶
What brings me back is the rotating selection of orange wine (always so good!!), the delicious burger, and the ultra friendly staff. 10/10 recommend

Fun local spot to grab a bite or glass of wine. The brunch is pretty tasty and the bagels are delish.

I’m in town for a work trip and a co worker recommended this spot for wine. When I arrived and saw it was natural wine I was slightly disappointed as I love wine, but not usually natural wine. I ordered the garnacha blanca and was pleasantly surprise, it was delicious! I also ordered the empanada as a “snack” but they were quite big and filling. Would come back when in town

We love the Rose so much! we come here often as we live in north park. recently we've been greeted with a little bit of unfriendliness or hostility, it seems as if the staff isn't concerned with friendliness and is consistently rude. We keep coming here because the area and drinks and food are lovely, but it feels like the staff is annoyed with us every time we walk in. We felt like this might be a one off situation one or two times but its been every time we've visited for weeks. It sucks but its become something we expect. We hope that the rose becomes a bit more consistent in their approach to customers.
You can only sit inside if you are 21+ yrs. So if you’re coming with kids you will be sat outside which is just as nice. I recommend reservations as it gets busy. We went for brunch on a Saturday and it was delicious! My husband loved his breakfast burger. I ordered the sourdough pancakes with stone fruit on top and my was it delicious! Service was friendly and coffee was also very good!

This place has a cute patio, but a relatively confusing menu (it's not clear what is a small plate and what is an entree, but my advice is to err on the side of assuming that whatever you're ordering is a small plate!)
It would be a great spot to hang out for a happy-hour type of get together with friends and a few shared small plates, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a dinner for two, especially for a vegetarian—they don't really have a vegetarian main.
What I would recommend though, are the bravas rosas, which are phenomenal potatoes—they also serve them at brunch!

The weather was perfect to sit outside. We were seated at 3:30 so we got a couple of beverages and some light bites during the siesta hour, bread and butter, olives and oysters on the half shell. Dinner starts at 4:00, we ordered the salmon crudo, salad and beans. Everything was delicious and the presentations were beautiful. We finished our meal with the pot de crème. The service was great…attentive, however not overbearing. Nice selection of wines, bubbles, a couple of beers, a few cocktails and mocktails.

This place is located in one of my most favorite neighborhoods in San Diego. However, the parking is always difficult. Plan to park at least two blocks away. If you find a closer spot, then bonus for you! The wine and food are both usually enjoyable. However, they are not keen on splitting checks or large groups. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend for groups more than 4. During our visit this time, we were seated inside and there were lots of fruit flies. Unfortunately, a few were in my glass of wine when served and it was tough to get the attention of our server. I would recommend this more as a couples spot and recommend sitting outside.

Sweet little spot. Went there for brunch. If I were to go back I would just eat bread with butter and wine. Don't bother eating anything else because that alone will keep you coming back.

Food was amazing, the tuna tartare was out of this world. Would definitely recommend!
Secret Sister is such a gem in San Diego! the vibe is warm, relaxed, and super inviting. The staff was so friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. I had a few glasses of wine, great conversation, and just really enjoyed the whole atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend!
