We love Waffle Spot! The food is delicious, not your typical breakfast diner and not greasy. Their waffles are magical, like nothing we’ve had anywhere else. The service is also really friendly and cheerful. It does have a touch of old school diner ambience, especially with the oldies music in the background and the decor. We’re locals here in SD, and this is where we go for birthday breakfasts and to take out of town guests. Usually a little bit of a wait during busy breakfast times.

Food wasn’t not the Best! We have peppers and a HAIR on our apple cinnamon waffle. Food was terrible Cold! Our server went on her break we were never told who would be our server for the time being. Never did we get asked if we needed refills.

This is your typical greasy spoon diner. The waffles were pretty good and the food came pretty quickly after being ordered. Getting a table and placing an order took a bit longer but they seemed understaffed.

This was my first time here. The place is old and needs some TLC . . . and cleaning. Food was okay. Although I like my eggs over easy, I always have to ask for over medium (seems no one knows how to cook them), but, these eggs were super runny. Surprisingly, the coffee had a weird taste; how do you screw that up?? Not going there again.

I Typically drop in when im in town as a go to spot. This time i came in for a late breakfast and craving waffles. During our wait, I noticed the menu board posting "waffles and chicken are back". As i looked over the menu for traditional breakfast items, I wasn't too sure about fred chicken from a waffle joint but the message stuck in my head like an omen. We Ordered the fried chicken and waffle not expecting much. Out came a giant plate with a large warm waffle and four deliciously seasoned hot and juicy fried chicken. I'm certain it was wisely seaaine and broasted with care. The omen was real, now I'm cursed to come back.
