I ordered the chicken waffle sandwich with fries. The flavor was off. I suspect the deep fryer hasn't been drained and cleaned in a very long time. I ate half my sandwich and a few fries. The server was nice.

Pretty good food but as a local i wont be coming back. Our server took our order after a while waiting. Forgot our waters, and our coffee came out after we got our food. He never came back to check on us. Only reason we got help was when the bus lady asked to take our plates and we asked for a togo box, even then she only gave us one when we asked for two. I had to go get
the other togobox myself. Our waiter never checked in on us even when our table had no plates and only togo boxes. After 20 minutes he finally gave us our check but then we had to wait for him to come back. Not a place i wanna go to with kids ever again.

Located inside the Kings Inn, this is a sweet diner with friendly service and ambiance. However, we were excited to try “the best waffles in town” but were left wanting more :(
We went in and sat at the diner counter but unfortunately the seats at the counter was not plus size friendly. Even my bf who I would consider a thinner build felt uncomfortable in the seats. Luckily they share seating with the Mexican restaurant next door and were were seated there instead and felt much more comfortable.
Now onto the food, the waffles are okay and everything else was okay as well. The coffee was okay, the service good but not great. They didn’t check up on us often or even refilled our coffee mug (which is a number one thing I look for when I go to breakfast spots) .
We left the place wanting more and a pricy bill. Paying over $50 for two people is a bit too much.

Arrived on a Saturday morning for brunch around 11:30. We were seated immediately in the old school diner section.
Our waitress was very friendly.
Took our orders right away.
The food was prepared and brought out in record time.
Everything tasted wonderful and our coffee cups were constantly refilled.
Very generous portions.
Enough to take home for another meal.
We will definitely be back.

Super adorable restaurant located in a hotel. The service was phenomenal, Paula was extremely friendly and personable. Not so much where as she lingered but just enough to make you really feel welcomed.
I got the chicken and waffles, I appreciated that she told me before ordering the fried chicken that it was bone in, I would have been really bummed if I got it and it had a bone in it.
The food itself was good, and pretty affordable for 2 people + a baby. They had the hotel and restaurant all decorated for Valentine's day, it was rather charming.
Great breakfast spot for family travelers or someone just looking for a good meal.

I came in for breakfast today. I have never experienced such poor service at a restaurant. We were a party of 6. It seems the expected 20% gratuity for parties our size led the server Isabelle to believe she did not need to provide any service at all. It would need to be intentional it was so bad. Thankfully, Christine refilled our coffees for us. I do appreciate management for listening to our concerns and removing the automatic gratuity charge. We will return for the awesome Churro Waffle and hope the service provided by 1 individual today does not truly reflect the others.

Restaurantji Recommends
Overall good experience. I had the banana nut waffle platter with eggs, 2 bacon, and 2 sausage. I had no complaintswith my meal. I had 2 of my kids with me. They both said that the food was good but not great. The ambiance was of the placce was a diner on one side and traditional eatery restaurant on the other. Wait staff were good and easy/pleasant to communicate with.
While this restaurant was a good experience that I would recommend to others it would not be near the top of my recommendation list (food wise). I would suggest it if they were staying at a hotel nearby or if they were driving by.

Great food, large servings, friendly atmosphere, very fast kitchen. We had both dinner and breakfast here while staying at the on-site hotel. The waffles here really are fabulous, even if you don’t order large waffles it’s worth getting the mini waffles with your meal.

A fun place for a tasty breakfast. We each had different types of flavored waffles. We used the online waitlist so were seated immediately. We’re in town for Christmas so enjoyed having a good option. We were also blessed to have someone pick up our check, so we repaid the favor by a large tip. Enjoy! 😊
