I have now been here twice and cannot wait for the fall menu. It's such a personal and truly amazing experience to eat food currated with so much attention to all the details from season, sourcing, textures, smells, and phenomenal taste. Interacting with Chef Jay and his staff makes you feel like family.

I wanted something different and special for my boyfriend’s birthday. We’ve done the usual suspects — Addison, Callie, Mister A’s, etc. — and while they’re all great, I was looking for more of an experience.

Three Three Seven is a special occasion restaurant in San Diego. It is an intimate setting with no more than 8–10 seats, and it feels like dining with friends you have never met. The experience is kinda like a speakeasy: there is not a big sign, you reserve time for a dinner, and on the designated day you text with the hostess who arranges to meet you on the street to bring you to a secret location where a kitchen crew and sommelier is waiting.
Chef Jay and his team deliver an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. Every course is thoughtfully crafted, with incredible creativity, impeccable technique, and flavors that are both unique and perfectly balanced. Each dish comes with an explanation of the inspiration and the personal stories that shaped each bite, and the chef gives a little talk before each dish. The food is based off his story of his home and his experiences. The menu includes a savory drumstick, biscuits, and chicken skin with caviar. My husband took the wine pairing package. The atmosphere is cozy, personable, and elevated. The crew is attentive, engaging and funny. The Chef even curated a playlist for the night that guests received as a gift. The reception area in the loft has a retro TV and VHS player and first Gen PlayStation. Guests are welcomed with a glass of rosé. It is a bit pricey, but magical and unforgettable.
