Wonderful staff and service and family-friendly. We sat on the patio to watch the sunset and enjoy the views of Mission Bay. It did get chilly on a mid-July evening, but there were heaters throughout the patio. Tidal's bread service (house-made brioche pull apart rolls w whipped European brown butter) was delish! It was much more than we expected - in size and taste. We also enjoyed the tomato flatbread and mac n cheese. The alaskan halibut and prime ribeye were cooked to perfection. The spinach was a little saltier than we prefer. Overall, we had a lovely dinner here and recommend visiting Tidal if you are staying in Paradise Point.

Overall our experience was what we expected. It was a pricey menu for pretty good food. Our server was friendly. My complaint: the start of our dinner had a good flow with the timing, but as it went on the flow really dragged. It seemed like we had to wait forever to pay for our meal.

Accommodated everything for my boyfriend's birthday! Outdoor seating is so beautiful, food and drinks were beyond our expectations. I wish I could rate it higher

The service was amazing. The food choices were good but our selection was less than desirable. Our server Melissa was accommodating and helpful and asked good questions and did everything to make it right. We appreciated and loved spending the weekend at Paradise Pointe.

I made reservations here for our wedding anniversary on a Saturday at 7pm. When we arrived there was hardly anyone there and the servers inside were standing around which seemed odd for a Saturday night. We were seated outside at a table overlooking the water right next to 2 tables with small children which was a strange choice since we requested a “romantic table” when I booked the reservation. After sitting for over 10 minutes at the table no one would make eye contact with us or acknowledged our presence. We couldn't get anyone's attention. We couldn't believe it. After almost 15 minutes of being ignored we got up and left. We asked to speak to a manager and again, waited some more to finally see some man peek out behind a wall and not come speak to us right away. We felt so unimportant and uncared for we left and walked next door to the Barefoot Bar & Grill where the manager, Emily, came out and greeted us warmly and after hearing our story took THE BEST care of us. We were so grateful for the kindness she and her team showed us. The manager from Tidal must've heard we were there because he came over and gave us the worst apology we had ever received. He told us he could've just blown us off but wanted to personally come and apologize. Oh, how gracious. He didn't offer to have us come back to make it right. None of the things you would expect from a “fine dining” establishment manager. It was clear speaking with him why the restaurant, Tidal, runs the way it does. I recommend you save your money and either go off site to a real luxury restaurant or enjoy the more casual, friendly and attentive vibe at Barefoot.

Food is ok but nothing to write home about. Kind of over priced for what you get. What really pulls this place down is the service. Our waiter was HORRIBLE, one of the worst I've had in a long time. Put in the wrong food and didn't check in on us at all to correct it. Didn't refill waters. Overall the staff here looked really sloppy and unprofessional for what I feel like is a nicer restaurant. If you're staying at the hotel I'd go off property for better dining options because the few they have there leave a lot to be desired.

Best chicken we ever had! Halibut was perfect- gorgeous truffle risotto with fabulous sauce. Fabulous view!

What an incredible experience. The food is amazing, great quality and great portions! Teddy, Esteban and Aaron were second to none with service, craft cocktails and attention to detail. The view and atmosphere made you feel like you were literally on your own island. Will be back again and again!

Forgot about us and ended up leaving after appetizers. Great food but unfortunately terrible service.

Absolutely stunning Mother's Day brunch service will well presented food options and a very attentive server making the experience wonderful. They only do brunch two times per year (Easter and Mother's Day) and it is well worth it. The location is right on the water with great views of the bay.

We went for our anniversary and it was so special. The staff was so sweet and celebrated us, even gave us a free dessert. I would highly recommend!

The food was flavorful and delicious, the choices were different and should have a surf and turf option, our server was very friendly and attentive

We had the Halibut with Risotto, Whipped Garlic Potatoes, Herb Roasted Mushrooms, and Tidal's Bread Service. It was all extremely flavorful and well prepared. We listened to the servers recommendations and went all in and were not disappointed. How could you be in such a lovely setting on the water?

Had a great experience. Had wonderful and friendly service from Sabrina at the table. There was a loud table near us that made it a little bit louder than ideal, but overall everything was fantastic.
