We had the most amazing anniversary dinner here. We couldn’t find a single flaw — perfect drinks, perfect food, and perfect service from Esteban. He absolutely made our night. The ribeye and halibut were to die for and the seasonal pumpkin pie tiramisu was delicious.

Chef Charlotte and her staff were absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly and made to feel welcome right away. The staff was incredibly attentive, asked about food allergies, and were both kind and knowledgeable throughout the evening.
The food was outstanding—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We had the ribeye medallions, broccolini, macaroni and cheese, and crème brûlée, and honestly, it was some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. The cocktails were also delicious.
Everything from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. This was my first time dining here, and I already plan on coming back very soon. Highly recommend! Oh and the view! Must dine on the patio!

I would suggest sitting outside. The inside area is cold and not cozy at all. Outside was lovely. The service was great and the food was as well. My father had the steak special and he raved about it. I had the salmon and it was very good. It is unfortunate people let their kids run around on the outside deck but beyond that, I recommend this restaurant!

Service was very slow. Salads was terrible and not the one I ordered. Tea was served in big mug, with two different tea packs. Broccolini were half uncooked and hard. Salmon was cooked worse than I cook at home. I paid over $160 for these for 2 meals. Extremely low grade restaurant to spoil our anniversary.

I can't say enough, of course the ambience is just fabulous, and Chef Charlotte's special "Dia de los Muertos" menu was a knock out. I couldn't wait to order their smoked cocktai called the Oaxacan Smoke Old Fashioned made with Amaras Reposada Mezcal, agave, and chocolate Aztec bitters. It was presented tableside in a beautiful smokebox. For my first couse I had the Aguachile de Jamaic a half dozen scallop halves in a hibiscus syrup pool with sliced pickled serranos, cucumbers, and shallots with a little avocado puree and garnished with micro cilantro and marigolds. They had a separate menu for wines from the Valle de Guadalupe in Baja, so I was intrigued by this one in particular and thought it would pair nicely with my entrée. From Mr. Mario Villarreal's Vinicola Emevé, a signature white blend of Chardonnay (70%), Sauvignon Blanc (20%), and Vigonier (10%), called “Isabella” was not only extraordinary but also a totally a great pairing. For my second course or entrée, I chose the PipiánVerde Shrimp which was sautéed shrimp bathed in pipián verde and arranged atop creamy hominy with charred zucchini, pickled breakfast radish, and topped with micro cilantro garnish The final or dessert course was a Marigold Panna Cotta toped with citrus coulis and a lace cookie and micro marigold garnish. WOWZA! My server was the amazing Nathan who was so attentive and helpful with every gues I could hardly believe it.

The food and service were top tier, exceeding all expectations with impeccable flavors and attentive, friendly staff. Every dish was expertly prepared and presented, making the dining experience truly memorable. From start to finish, the team ensured that every detail was perfect, creating an atmosphere of genuine hospitality and excellence.

It was very loud in the restaurant due to a large group. There was not a wall between that group and the rest of the diners. My husband and could barely hear each other talk. Several people left when they came in and assessed the situation. The food was very good but VERY pricey. Our server was very nice and professional just over worked with all the people in the restaurant.

Really enjoyed a really nice dinner in the patio at Tidal! Esteban and the rest of the team were great and helped select a Valle de Guadalupe wine that was excellent. Tidal is a great location right in the water in Mission Bay, which strangely are hard to find in San Diego.

Food did not meet expectations or any online review. Food that was in online menu was not present at restaurant, drinks tasted awful, there was a large long hair in one of our guest's salad that she had to pull out of her mouth during dinner that was the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen during a business a dinner. Menu item we ordered we were told was not available. Restaurant closed early and made it very known and made us felt rushed to leave even though there was an hour before closing. I highly enjoyed the bar next to the restaurant and the food there far surpasses the restaurant. I genuinely believe no one that stays at paradise resort should attend this overpriced garbage which I don't use lightly since there was a long hair that one of my coworkers had to eat in addition to non-spectacular food. Ambiance was nice and servers were nice as well.

Teddy was a HUGE help in planning a bigger party. It was a lovely experience plus featured some live music from next door which was nice to enjoy.
