It was very loud in the restaurant due to a large group. There was not a wall between that group and the rest of the diners. My husband and could barely hear each other talk. Several people left when they came in and assessed the situation. The food was very good but VERY pricey. Our server was very nice and professional just over worked with all the people in the restaurant.

Really enjoyed a really nice dinner in the patio at Tidal! Esteban and the rest of the team were great and helped select a Valle de Guadalupe wine that was excellent. Tidal is a great location right in the water in Mission Bay, which strangely are hard to find in San Diego.

Food did not meet expectations or any online review. Food that was in online menu was not present at restaurant, drinks tasted awful, there was a large long hair in one of our guest's salad that she had to pull out of her mouth during dinner that was the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen during a business a dinner. Menu item we ordered we were told was not available. Restaurant closed early and made it very known and made us felt rushed to leave even though there was an hour before closing. I highly enjoyed the bar next to the restaurant and the food there far surpasses the restaurant. I genuinely believe no one that stays at paradise resort should attend this overpriced garbage which I don't use lightly since there was a long hair that one of my coworkers had to eat in addition to non-spectacular food. Ambiance was nice and servers were nice as well.

Teddy was a HUGE help in planning a bigger party. It was a lovely experience plus featured some live music from next door which was nice to enjoy.

Beautiful setting but lots of noisy families/small k ids playing mediocre food with poor service

Avoid this place if you want a nice romantic dinner! Our experience was bad from start to finish. We arrived 10 minutes before our booking time and there were plenty of tables available. Yet, we were asked to wait at the bar where the barman totally ignored us for about 15 minutes and there was just another couple there. Finally got the table: nice location but families all over with lots of kids yelling... no water was ever offered to us. We picked several items on the menu that were really blah... and the flat bread was just bad: no taste at all and chewy crust. We had asked that not all the items arrived at the same time and they did arrive at the same time. Finally had to really grab waitress attention to get our check. We will not be back!!

Our server Ernesto was wonderful - he guided us to the best clam chowder I've every had (the specialty of the house) and other dinner selections that were also wonderful (chicken, mozzarella and tomato salad, bread. The setting is gorgeous, the ambiance perfect. Was there for a conference and took a client to dinner - you never know what onsite dining is going to be like - but this was fabulous! 10 out of 10 stars!

Food was delicious. BUT reason I'm sending this review which is rare for me is because our waitress Sabrina WAS SPECTACULAR!!! Give her an immediate RAISE. NOW!!

Very little value for the money. As a San Diego native I will never return. Clearly catering to a tourist crowd that will be one and done, the food quality was poor and very overpriced for what was offered. Disappointing to say the very least. No acknowledgement of the special event we were celebrating and food was delivered rare when medium was ordered.

Wonderful staff and service and family-friendly. We sat on the patio to watch the sunset and enjoy the views of Mission Bay. It did get chilly on a mid-July evening, but there were heaters throughout the patio. Tidal's bread service (house-made brioche pull apart rolls w whipped European brown butter) was delish! It was much more than we expected - in size and taste. We also enjoyed the tomato flatbread and mac n cheese. The alaskan halibut and prime ribeye were cooked to perfection. The spinach was a little saltier than we prefer. Overall, we had a lovely dinner here and recommend visiting Tidal if you are staying in Paradise Point.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Melissa is amazing- literally one of the best experiences ever , Conner the Hostess was so contagious with positive energy. The food was hot, flavorful and came so quickly. Highly recommend!! And if you read my other reviews… you’ll know I do not give these lightly! Ohhhh and DO NOT miss the drinks.. we had a smoked old fashioned with mezcal and it was to die for.

Overall our experience was what we expected. It was a pricey menu for pretty good food. Our server was friendly. My complaint: the start of our dinner had a good flow with the timing, but as it went on the flow really dragged. It seemed like we had to wait forever to pay for our meal.

Dinner menu is great. The chef really knows what he’s doing. Service in the evening is also exceptional. The coffee is one of my favorite things about this place and the location is right off the bay and a beautiful setting for dining. If you eat gluten free I would not recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. They don’t offer substitutions. Oatmeal and fruit only all other protein comes on bread which I was told could not be substituted except on a very small size bread less than half the portion for the same price.

Accommodated everything for my boyfriend's birthday! Outdoor seating is so beautiful, food and drinks were beyond our expectations. I wish I could rate it higher

The service was amazing. The food choices were good but our selection was less than desirable. Our server Melissa was accommodating and helpful and asked good questions and did everything to make it right. We appreciated and loved spending the weekend at Paradise Pointe.
