I wish I could give less than a star. The food was bland and tasteless. It took ages for them to bring our drinks, and the owner was extremely rude. When we told him the drink was not good, he simply said he couldn’t do anything about it. To make it worse, he came over with the card machine while we were still eating, rushing us to pay. He clearly doesn’t know how to talk to customers or run a place with any respect.
Edit 9/21: Response to the café’s comment
>> “You finished all of your food, which contradicts your claim that it was tasteless.”
Absolutely false — I didn’t even finish my coffee. My husband only managed about 40% of the juice before giving up; it was that bad, leaving a bitter aftertaste. The food was bland at best, and we could barely finish it.
>> “You told our staff the orange juice was expired, but in fact, it was freshly squeezed. After drinking more than half, you said it was bitter and asked us to cancel it.”
As I mentioned, my husband tried to force himself through the bitter taste, thinking it was just him. When I confirmed it was bitter too, he agreed we should return it.
>> “Our staff remained polite and professional throughout, despite your difficult behavior.”
The waitress serving us was polite. The owner, however, was arrogant and condescending.
>> “We do not rush anyone to pay — the card machine is only brought when a table is ready.”
Really? Then why was the card machine brought out while we were still eating, without us asking for it?
>> “It’s disappointing to see our team, who treated you with kindness, spoken about this way. While we welcome constructive criticism, trying to find reasons not to pay does not reflect fairly.”
This accusatory tone is exactly what we experienced at the café. Do you honestly think not paying for a $5 or $10 juice would change anyone’s life?

Best customer service I have had in a while. Caring owner and employees. The employees deal with a lot of customers who have up and down mood swings what appreciated the most is the owner stepping in to stop disrespectful customers and not accepting there orders as respect for the customers and the employees. Thanks for always tolerating me working in my laptop and my picky coffee drinking habits .

I had earl grey tea and a mixed berry açaí bowl. The food was decent, but the açaí seems like it’s not made fresh. There were big frozen chunks in my bowl and I had to wait to let it melt out so I’d be able to get my spoon through. Disappointing for the price. Staff was friendly and service was prompt.

Beautiful cafe on the corner with great food, bright atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee is also great and their prices are fair.
I highly recommend the chilaquiles!

I got the tiger waffle with the poached eggs on the waffle. It was honestly the best thing i've had in a while! There was no need for any syrup at all I didn't want to mess the flavors up at all! Great service too, owner was really cool and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area, you gotta try it out you wont regret it.

Ordered a horchata hot and it was excellent. I also ordered the breakfast and it was perfect. The eggs were seasoned to perfection, cheese melted but not burned, turkey bacon cooked to the right temperature, and the bread toasted perfectly. Fresh fruit, not frozen, or pre made. Side of chipotle mayo for the sandwich because I like some spice.

Kitchen closes at 3:30, not 5:00 like their hours. Bummer, I walked 4 blocks on the heat for an Açaí bowl, to get nothing!

I recently visited this coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The coffee is excellent—smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. Whether you're grabbing a quick espresso or settling in with a latte, it hits the mark.
The ambiance is another highlight: cozy, welcoming, and stylish without trying too hard. It's the kind of place where you can catch up with a friend, get some work done, or just relax with a book.
Bonus points for the açaí bowls—they're fresh, beautifully presented, and taste as good as they look. A perfect light meal or snack to go with your coffee.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a place with quality drinks, good vibes, and healthy food options.
I hope they’ll fix their wall plugs so I can stay longer in this nice coffee shop to do the work

Crowded but yummy! Ordered a matcha latte and it was delightful. Glad I didn’t add any additional sweeteners because it was made with the perfect amount (imo). Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy inside. Most of the tables were “reserved” except for the community table in the center. We took our drinks to-go. Service was pretty quick and pleasant. Too small of a space for a good study session, but it might be quieter on a less busy day.
