This place is %100 Money Laundering restaurant! Because the food is so bad and the place is so empty that how the heck this place is still going?! Even side dish is nasty. As a Korean, this place is very disappointing.

Underwhelming, not very tasty, and also I'm confused if the chefs here are actually Korean. Came here with some friends for lunch and ordered kalbi and soondooboo. The banchan portions are skimpy and not at all traditional Korean banchan. The "kimchi" was not very fermented and the "kkakdugi" was literally takuan (the Japanese yellow radish) tossed with some red pepper flakes. Our server actually did not bring us any banchan until we asked for it. And we were 1 of 2 parties there so it wasn't as if they were busy. The tofu soup was hot and ingredients plentiful, but again, I was very confused if the kitchen staff are Korean or trained in Korean cuisine. Example, my soondooboo had things like carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and napa cabbage (not kimchi, actual cabbage), and small bits of pork. Additionally, the soup seemed to be flavored with a lot of white pepper (traditionally found more in Chinese cuisine) and not so much gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes). I ordered mild level spicy but my soup came with ZERO spice, it was clear. The whole meal felt like a "version" of Korean food. Would not come back again if craving Korean tofu soup. 2 stars instead of 1 because the girl working there was nice and food was cooked fresh (and I don't enjoy negative reviews).

Came to tofu house for the robot stayed for the tofuSuper yummy tofu soup and banchan. Soup came out piping hot and I barely waited for it to cook before I devoured it and a lot of kimchi. It is a bit expensive for what you get though. Parking is also the worst in this parking lot. So I usually only do lunch before it's bumping.

Not super impressed, unfortunately. We came for a late lunch on a Saturday and were underwhelmed with the food. One person in our group got a soon tofu, and then two others ordered combinations of soon tofu plus Galbi and soon tofu plus bulgogi. The combos arrived and we found out rice is not included. How does one eat the soon tofu soup and meat with no rice? So we had to order the rice in addition. I think this is the first time ever (maybe I've had it a couple hundred times in my life?) that I've ever ordered Korean soon tofu or a combo of it with meat and it didn't come with rice. The meat was only OK as it was under-marinated and galbi was tough/chewy. The service was ok, with our waitress serving 3 other tables and kept up with refilling our bonchon and waters when requested. They deliver the dishes out on a robot.-----TL;DR-----Pros: parking is easy. Side dishes were unlimitedCons: combinations don't come with rice. meat was a little under-marinatedBottom Line: not the best but not the worst I've had.

Not a good value. The beef bulgogi was grey, dry, and the onions were raw. The fried tofu with vegetables was OK. Also, the portions were so small. The main problem is I felt there should have been twice as much food for the $20 per entree, half the bulgogi dish was raw onion. The spicy cucumber and kimchi sides were good but other places (convoy area) give you a greater variety of sides for the same price.

The food was great and the staff was very kind. We went there to celebrate mother's Day, and the server took the time to explain everything to my mom. And a robot brings out the food!

This place is just as good as it's sister shop on convoy. However, it is smaller so you will have to wait in line if you come by during rush hour dinner time. The parking at this branch is also as troublesome as the convoy branch. However, this little tofu house is more fun than it's bigger busier sister restaurant. Your food gets delivered by a waiter robot! The tofu soups, hot stone rice pots, and galbi are all delicious!

Been here a couple of times recently. Food is decent. They serve you some banchan dishes while you wait for your main food to be served. Typical radishes, cucumbers, kimchi and fish cakes. I and was so excited when I saw the robot bringing out my food. That's a first for me. I usually order the bulgogi hot stone cause I love the sizzle when it comes out and how the rice forms a crispy bottom from the hot stone pot. Getting the combo is a better deal if you also like boiled tofu soup. Service is good and very attentive but parking can be an issue on busy weekends and the spots are small. But glad there's a Korean option in the area now.

This was seriously so underwhelming. $18 for this crispy tofu??? It looks worse than what I can make at home! It's like they put together some leftovers and called it a day. And no it did not taste better than it looked. As for the bulgogi fries, I expected much more but it's literally just bulgogi and fries. No garnishes no nothing not even any onions which is usually in a bulgogi dish. I'd rather go to icebox and get bulgogi fries there. Everything is so expensive for such low quality. Don't waste your time and money eating here, there's much more better places.

Not much service received when we visited on a Sunday, maybe because they tend are reluctant to work on Sundays (even though they did open the restaurant). No more customers other than us and the waiter never asked for anything and left the table uncleaned when we got the seats. Food was okay but not a good experience overall.

Food 2/5Service 2/5I'll keep going to the original Tofu house on Convoy in Kearny Mesa, sometimes the 2nd location just doesn't hit the same :(Closer to home, but did not reach the level of delicious-Ness for me! Other tastebuds might beg to differ but for me sticking to the OG location on Convoy.
