This place could be so much more! They have a magnificent view, good but pricey drinks, and good service. The downer is the food! It was limited and mediocre. The cake tasted like cardboard. The food was the disappointment of the evening. It's a shame because I wanted this beautiful place to be everything! If there is a next time, I'll eat before coming and only drink.

March 5, 2024 - the 40th floor restaurant/bar open up at 3pm to all of us that are not staying there... It is not inexpensive or even moderately priced, but the views are phenomenal and well worth the "up charge." The cocktail menu is full of signature drinks, and they have a good wine list as well.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for three nights so we decided to have a drink on the 40th floor before we left. It was very enjoyable experience but very pricey. I had the little Italy cocktail with the crispy Sicilian beef arancini. My husband had a beer with the pepperoni flatbread. I liked my mother-in-law's shrimp cocktail the best. My husband loved his flatbread. The service was great and the food also very tasty.

I love a good rooftop bar but I will say the drinks seemed overpriced for the view. It was too bright in the bar so looking out the windows you could mostly just see reflections and not the view. The drinks were good and the service was nice but if you're coming only for the view I didn't think it was worth the price.

Great roof top / bird eye view of seafront San Diego. Because there were 4 conferences in town, the place was sat dung room only. The drinks are good. We have Mira Mesa and Chule Vista. They were good. Met a young couple celebrating the husband, Gabriel's US Naturalization ceremony. Had a great time with them, young couple business owners from Brazil...Good ambelience. Meet lot is interesting and friendly people during our time there. However, the Men's room is tiny, due to the unusual large crowd and mainly male conference participants, there is actually a long line for the Men's room.

Went during the Christmas holiday. Their "Over the Top" Christmas theme was super fun. Great drinks with holiday twists and the entire place was decorated to the top. We sat on bunk beds and enjoyed holiday themed beverages...What's not to love. Great views and during holidays always a fun time.
