What a cool place the ramen is fantastic and the service was great and fast once you order. the line was out the door but places this good usually do! We were served by gideon and he was so attentive and made us feel at home with some laughs. we ordered the belly of the beast, chicken wings, kimchi and beer. I will definetely come back soon. If you havent been here make it the next place you go!

I was drawn in by the interesting interior and restaurant space walking by but the ramen was only decent. You order walking in at the front and grab your own seat which can be tight on the main floor. Didn’t get to see upstairs though.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing experience at Underbelly – Little Italy, San Diego

The ambiance was nice, but the staff completely ruined it. The short-haired girl working that night was extremely rude. It was our first time here — double date, good vibes — but the service was confusing, dismissive, and unprofessional.

We ended up walking out after paying around $60 for watered-down drinks and frustration. Definitely not the kind of hospitality you’d expect in Little Italy.

Absolutely delicious ramens. Had the chicken confit spicy one, and it was phenomenal. Service was quick and friendly with excellent recommendations by Jesse. Well worth the visit, will be back when coming to SD.

The bento box and bao buns were honestly pretty bad. That being said the decor was so unique it actually made up for it to the point where I would recommend someone goes here. Please work on the food.

Absolutely killing it, here! Very neo-Tokyo Sci-fi vibe, excellent menu that is perfectly executed; perfect fried chicken, and huge bowls of ramen packed full of all the fixings in perfect ratios. A new favorite must-stop place.

Very kool and chill spot. The noodle was tasty too.

It was my first time visiting Underbelly and it did not disappoint! I had the Underbelly Ramen with a side of sausage both were absolutely amazing. The restaurant has a great vibe, awesome atmosphere, and good music. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Too pricey for what it's worth. Service was great and the place looks cool but the flavor was seriously lacking. Not authentic ramen in any way.
