Whoever said the chicken and waffles slaps lied to me. The batter was a different texture and so was the waffles in a good way, but just because you fry something and drown it in syrup does not give it taste. I do not believe it was seasoned at all.
Have come here for a few years and recently joined friends for happy hour once or twice a month. Fridays around 4p can be busy but the staff is on their A game. I discovered the shrimp tostadas and it’s now my go-to, love em! I order mine “naked” without the tostadas and usually a paloma. Just tried the Mexican Mule, not bad.
This place isn’t a place you go to have a rager but it’s definitely a nice place to go when you want to grab a drink and have a nice conversation with someone. When I went they were playing loud music as well but they have an event where you could use headphones and listen to different stations playing different types of music. Always a fun time!
