We visited Volare while our son was at Camp Lejeune. My husband comes from a Sicilian family and they make some of the best food I've had. I really wanted to like this place! It's a cute hole in the wall Italian restaurant. The food was good but the service was not. From the get-go it was very disorganized and I had a really hard time getting my server's attention. There were 3 families present at the time. Unfortunately this was not an isolated complaint as I've had family members mention the same thing during their dining experience. The atmosphere is nice though and it is a very homey feel.
It's been my third time coming here and I can tell you that we knew we were going to continue to come back lol the first visit!!! We haven't been disappointed!!! I didn't realize I was speaking to the owners daughter and she was our server and she was such a sweetheart and the other woman there also made us feel so welcome!! My whole family loves it here!!!
