This place is a solid 3/5. The food was good, but not worth the price. The drinks were weak. The bar was so loud you couldn’t hear the people across the table from you. The view of the sunset was lovely. The service was pretty poor.

Great atmosphere, different seating available from booths to bar to tables by the window with a beach front view. Friendly hostess, and servers, smiley welcoming faces. I.Parking: Depending on which day and time of day, parking can be easy to somewhat difficult. There’s a street parking right in front. They have the back parking lot by the alley. And then your typical street parking where you’ll have a little walkKid-friendliness: There are high chairs available for the babies and toddlers. There is a kids menu as well.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator for a wheelchair or baby strollers.
Bartender was very rude , we walked in asked are you fun and he stated I ain't serving you very rude so we left. Don't recommend if you want to have a fun bartender.

Food was ok but service was terrible. Our waitress didnt even let us look at the menu and pressing us to order oyster or fried seefood to start. Then when we ordered, we were still having iur meal and waitress came once to ask about dessert. We said maybe layer we haven’t finished our plates. A few minutes back she comes back while we were still eating, asking again which dessert, not even bringing the dessert menu. Overall not happy with service.

Although the place was packed due to springs first day of summer in San Diego, the wait for food was short, drinks came fast, the noise was very very manageable even with a packed hours. Wait staff was polite and very accommodating to request. The view was amazing. We got the exact view and table we requested on our reservation. My gf loved her first trip to Waterbar. You knocked it out of the park. Thank you! Would 100% recommend to others and this wasn't my first time and won't be my last!

Beautiful water front view. Ended up stumbling upon this gem during happy hour which saves about $7 per dish. The ceviche, raw oysters, and coconut curry muscles were incredible! They opened the windows for us while we were there which made it feel as if we were enjoying our meal outside. So glad we found this place!!

This is the best place for a drink, and a unbeatable view! Alexis was our server and she was absolutely amazing! We had a bachelorette party just coming in for drinks. We knew it was busy so we didn’t expect anything right away, but Alexis made sure we were taken care of and our drinks were full. I also have to shout out Brock for his speed and amazing execution. We were just drinking but couldn’t stop admiring how fast he was making drinks. Drinks were 10/10. Super good and refreshing!

I made a reservation to sit closest to the windows where the view is spectacular (although they say the can't guarantee that all the time). Our server was delightful and gave us really good recommendations. I loved the drink, “ocean mist” and the food was really good.

What an amazing experience . We were greeted by Taylor who was super friendly and guided us to the perfect table on the glass. The view is spectacular and the food was delicious. We had the shrimp and grits and the parmesan truffle fries . The drinks are really tasty too. Our server made great recommendations. We will be back!

Our server was fantastic— friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Food was excellent. Location couldn't be beat - we were staying less than 1000 feet away. View and ambience was incredible. Only downer was a 4% SD Surcharge on the bill. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area.
