Fantastic little Thai restaurant in Mission Hills with a great atmosphere. The open-air feel of this place is a huge vibe. With a fun name like "What De Health" (a play on of "hello" in Thai [""] and "what the hell") I knew I had to try it. I loved both the curries my friend and I tried. They were very authentic, appropriately spicy, and full of delicious flavors. They've got a big menu and I'd love to go back and check it out again to try out some other dishes! One of my new favorite Thai spots in San Diego! Thanks, What De Health!

Food, service and ambiance were excellent. My one recommendation is that the weather was cold and wet and the restaurant was just cold. We moved away from their roll up door to try and keep warmer.

Great food, really lovely setting and atmosphere. Service was great and very attentive. I love this area as well. Only downfall is it's right next to a schoolyard with children screaming but they can't help that. I would return.

First time here! Such a cute spot in a great neighborhood. Parking is hit or miss tbh. They were pretty busy when my friend and I arrived. You have to go up to the counter to be seated. The place has a fun aesthetic and it's well-light naturally due to the Large open windows/doors. It took us awhile to have someone come take our order and my friend had to flag a server down but turns out they were understaffed and only one server that evening (no big deal). My friend and I ordered the spring rolls and we each got pad Thai. I love how you can order whatever meat you'd like for your pad Thai. I've never seen that before! Normally I would get chicken or shrimp but was feeling salmon that evening. My friend is vegetarian so she got tofu. We loved our meals and had enough leftover to take home the next day. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the noodles had great flavor. The staff is also friendly. Hopefully they can hire more servers or maybe it was just an off night but overall, great place and I look forward to coming back!

Me and my girlfriends favorite Thai place, my friends who come from out of town always have to have it when they visit. Everything is so fresh and delicious! Get the pumpkin dish as well as their pad Thai. Nothing here disappoints!

Lovely, clean, spacious restaurant with amazing food! We come here every week, sometimes just two people and sometimes large parties. Our favorites are the Buddha delight, zucchini-noodle pad Thai, ginger chicken salad, Panang curry, fresh spring rolls, tamarind cauliflower. The staff is always very kind, service is great, and we're so happy we found this spot!

Walked in on a Saturday day and got the last available table right away. Our server was excellent! Served us right away and the food came out SO QUICKLY.No exaggeration, this was the best Thai food we’ve ever had (and my wife and I spent months in Thailand last year). It tastes fresh and the flavours are amazing. I strongly recommend!We split this amount between 4 of us, but I suggest more food and variety. We saved our appetite for desert elsewhere after dinner, but sort of regret not trying more things.
